      I hired Preferred Flooring and Paint 1 month ago with a completion date in 1 week. Here itbis 1 month later and 3 recalls of dealing with the company owner and allowing them to go back in to fix the problem. Well, the problems aren't fixed. They've ruined with texture over spray my new doors and windows that I have paid 70K for. They have overspray on all of my brand new hardware. The acoustic ceilings that was scraped the texture is so unprofessionally done ( there coming up with a story that my onsite told them to follow his texture format and he never textured at all) . ****** the owner contracted with me an NO one else to get 4 units done and none of them are done correctly. Also on the worst unit I will be hiring ********************* to go in and redo the texture on the ceiling and paint the unit right. I would like that adjustment to Preferred invoice. Also, I want all of my newly finished doors, windows and hardwares cleaned properly. They want to be paid on poorly done work and a very unsatisfied customer. I'm not paying a dime until things are done correct.Thanks

      We have been in touch with ****** and agreed to all her demands including adjustment she requested of not paying for unit 1 paint job, so I am not sure why she put in a complaint with the BBB.    We did ask she pay for the  flooring work which is not related to her complaints on the paint in good faith, but she has not agreed to and has not responded to my last request.

      I am rejecting this response because:   Preferred is not willing to go back to clean all the overspray in my units unless I agree to non- contractual things.   The owner ***** is not willing to do a walk through due to being a silent investor.   He thinks I'm not wanting to pay just because.   I explained, I am willing to pay for great work.   They've ruined my newly installed windows, front doors, casings, hardware, threshold, closet doors.  Lastly, preferred didn't install planks in the closets hall and bedrooms.   Now, they are stating they don't have to because they told me they wouldn't. Not true.   See information on contract. 

       

      Bryans last communication was to hire another company to do their cleaning.   

       

      This company has caused me a great deal of stress due to being on a timeline for a refinance.  They stated they'll be done in 1 week.  and here it is a month later.  And, I'm having to negotiate to get my units complete right.  

      This is not good business at all.

      ***** Graves.  I am not the owner and my company did not do this work. This complaint should not be under Preferred Plumbing & Drain as we did no work at this property. Preferred Flooring & Paint is my Son's company.   I am his father and helped invest to get his business going.  He agreed to do cleaning of some minor overspray and all their demands.  The floors have been done for over a month. Two scopes of work were sent.  The customer wanted carpet in the closets and hallway to match unit # 6's lay out, and is now changing what she wanted us to do. The reason ****** Graves the flooring company is letting this customer keep their 29k in money that is owed on this project is this customer was not willing to even pay for the flooring that they were happy with.  On many occasions this customer stated the flooring was great and done per their expectations, it was only when ****** Graves the owner of Preferred Flooring & Paint with my help asked for a progress payment for the flooring until the clean up was done on the over spray they now had this new complaint on the flooring that was never brought up before. This includes a walk through of all units on Nov 8th with ****** and *************** in person.  Preferred Flooring & Paint feels no matter how much they try they will never get paid for their work.  He has collected no money to date and is willing to let this customer keep their money, even though he has spent over 20k in labor & material to date.   The over spray clean up was scheduled to be done, and cancelled after *************** changed her story of being satisfied with flooring the same day she was asked for a progress payment for the flooring work only, since she was not yet satisfied with the paint work.   This is a big financial strain letting this customer not pay anything for work done, but if they are not willing to pay for work they are satisfied with and not willing to give any partial payment at all, it is telling of what they will do if more work is provided at their property.   The ********* + of money they have and are unwilling to pay is more than enough to pay for minor overspray clean up and minor flooring changes.

      I am rejecting this response due to my extreme dissatisfaction with the work performed by Preferred Flooring and Paint on the project contracted two months ago, with a promised completion date that has now been extended to two months. Here are the key issues that require immediate attention and resolution:

      1. The project was scheduled to be completed within one week, and yet, after one month, the work is far from finished. This delay has not only inconvenienced us but has also resulted in financial losses due to the inability to rent out the property as planned.

      2. Regrettably, overspray from the texture work has damaged the appearance of our newly installed doors and windows, as well as the hardware. This overspray is unacceptable, considering the significant investment made in these elements, totaling $70,000. Please find the estimates from *************** Construction for these renovations and the payment transactions made attached 

      3. Unit 1 Adjustment Repaint and Retexture Ceiling:
      The quality of the texture work on the acoustic ceiling in Unit 1 is subpar. We will be contracting ********************* to rectify the situation at an estimated cost of $6,000. This amount will be deducted from Preferred Flooring and Paint's invoice for Unit 1.

      4.Despite providing a punch list to ******, none of the requested items for Units 18 and 19 have been addressed. We require prompt attention to this matter to ensure the completion of the project to our satisfaction.

      5.A professional cleaning is scheduled for Tuesday, November 21st, to rectify the overspray on our new doors, windows, and hardware. The cost incurred for this cleaning will be deducted from the outstanding invoice.

      6.The extended timeline for completion has resulted in financial losses due to the property not being available for rent as planned. We request a fair adjustment for these losses.

      7. Additionally, it is imperative that the sealing between the baseboards and floors is executed with precision and professionalism. We insist on a neat finish, and we do not want *****, the *******, back on the site due to previous quality concerns.

      We trust that Preferred Flooring and Paint will take swift and effective measures to address these issues to our satisfaction. We are withholding payment until these matters are appropriately resolved, and we look forward to your prompt attention to this urgent matter.

      I worked 12 hours days for 2 weeks and only got paid 500$ after they said we would get paid a certain amount. this fraud and would like them audited.

      We have reached out to our employee and worked out his confusion and complaint.  He has no other complaint at this point.  *********************** and ***************** his supervisors had a meeting with him and resolved all his payroll issues.
