This complaint is about the daycare that my son attends. On 8/16/2021, we were informed that a child came to daycare with Covid , and that they would close for a week. My sons mother asked the school for a credit, and we were told "I don't believe the owner is refunding since the pandemic is listed in our handbook as no reimbursement." I then checked the handbook and screenshotted it with a timestamp, and nowhere in the handbook is that mentioned. I reached out to the daycare and explained to them that I looked at the handbook, and it was not mentioned, and explained that it isn't fair to families to have to find and pay for alternate care or take time away from work, and also pay them for services not rendered. Which is about $475 for the week. They responded that the owner said at this time they are not reimbursing families, but will waive a 100 dollar annual fee. That doesn't amount what I am seeking in "credit"Business response
