On Saturday March 26, 2022 I *************************** called Lavender Nails & Spa to notify them of a health condition I was developing as a result of a service I received in April. I regularly get my nails done every 5 to 6 weeks at this location. I noticed the last time I got an acrylic fill I was serviced by a man I was not familiar with because my regular technician was unavailable and I noticed that the tools that were being used were not being removed from ***** side but instead were inside a small plastic case that didnt seem sanitary. I asked the technician if the tools he was using were sanitary and he assured me they were. When I return in the beginning of March my nail tech that I usually go to get my services done said she noticed a dark **** on my nail. She said it was part of the old acrylic product I previously had filled in. A couple weeks went by and I noticed the color started to get darker and on Friday, March 25, 2022 the nail on my left ring finger came off exposing nail fungus. That same fungus can be seen on the middle finger directly next to it needed to be removed. After I made the call I was asked to come in and I requested to have all the nails removed. The person acting as manager was hesitant but after 15 minutes of hearing me out they complied and sent me to the same desk area where I initially believe I was exposed to the unsanitary tools. There the male technician preceded to drill and soak off my nails and ended up clipping my nail too close causing me harm and to bleed on the same hand as the fungus and clipped too deep on my ring finger on my right hand but I was able to pull away before it broke my skin. At this point I requested the tech to stop and for a refund and they denied me and the issue escalated to where I advised them I would be reporting them and I preceded to take pictures and was accosted at the door and threatened to delete them. Another customer was leaving that was disabled and grabbed my hand to help me leave safely.
