          District Attorney Settlement

          On October 6, 2022, a lawsuit was filed against Naked Wines, Inc. by District Attorneys for San Diego, Alameda, Napa, Shasta and Sonoma Counties. The lawsuit was brought against the company due to findings that Naked Wines violated provisions of California’s Automatic Renewal laws. The prosecution alleged that Naked Wines’ “Wine Angel” program and “Wine Genie“ product failed to correctly inform consumers that they were enrolling in a monthly subscription.
