      I started a wine subscription with this company, after a couple months I decided to cancel it. Which I did. I then was unknowingly charged for 16 months of their service. Once I noticed that I was still being charged I called the company and was told I would only be refunded 6 months of payments and could get the rest of the money, approximately $719 back in gift cards. I don't want anything else to do with this company and just want my back.

      Upon responding to this complaint, I would like to let you know that the customer had canceled their membership through their account settings, so no further charges will be processed. Ms. ****** ****** reached out on September 27, 2024, requesting to get a refund of her unused Winc Insider Access credits. Our refund policy states that "The purchase of Member Credits is non-refundable and not cancellable. After delivery of an email confirmation of the purchase of Member Credits, the Member Credits cannot be cancelled and the purchase is final and non-refundable." Since in her previous contacts, we have explained and informed her of our refund policy. Please see the attached files.

      As a one-time courtesy, upon her contact on September 27, 2024, the concierge refunded 6 months of $59.95 charges from April 2024 to September 2024 with a total amount of $359.70. The remaining credits of $719.40 are converted to a Winc gift card, which she can redeem and use at any time. The customer accepted this resolution, and then she informed the concierge that she would file a complaint with BBB. 

      I totally understand that this was not the resolution she would like to have and that she wanted a full refund, but we have our policy and we strictly follow it. The best that we can do is to meet halfway and refund 3 more months covering January 2024 to March 2024, so half of her accumulated credits is now refunded from our end. Then the remaining credits, which are $539.55, were converted into a Winc gift card, which she can redeem and use at any time, and the credits will not expire. The new gift card codes have been emailed to her so she can use them at any time.

      WINC wine sends out wines monthly if you dont skip a month. Im not under contract and can supposedly cancel anytime and I wrote per their instructions to cancel my membership. I write written notice to customer support to cancel. I assumed it was cancelled but I see a rep emailed saying hey can we offer other options. I never replied back then I see an email saying my account is STILL active and I will be charged June 16 if I do t skip a month. I emailed back saying I am cancelling my subscription and why is it still active? They are being fraudulent per their instructions if we wish to cancel send an email to customer support. I gave notice but they still have me active. We cant call to cancel we can only email customer support. They are lying and making it difficult for people to cancel

      Upon answering this complaint, the customer account has now been canceled as requested. There should be no further charges. In the event that the customer places a new order using their account, the membership and prepayment charge of $59.95 will also be resumed.
