            On April 27th, 2024 I went to the California Skin Care & Day Spa for a facial and brow wax. I bought a toner product after leaving and tipped the aesthetician for the services. Later that night I noticed my right brow bone was burned from the wax. The next morning I could see that it was a first or second degree burn and very painful. The business was closed on Sunday and Monday and therefore I could not contact to complain. I called and spoke to the aesthetician and she apologized and said she would tell ****** to refund my money. Nothing happened that day. I called back Wednesday evening and spoke to ****** and he tried to tell me he could only give me a credit. I said that wouldnt work because I dont live there. He offered to refund my wax but I wanted the tip refunded. He said he couldnt do that. I was upset and said then refund me the wax and toner I bought and Ill call it good and wont go on Yelp. He came back and refused to do that because the tip was $10 less than the toner. He could have made things right and refused and even questioned why I didnt say anything earlier. I couldnt because I didnt know the severity of my burn until the next day. I asked if he could just do the wax and because I said I would go on Yelp, then it was a threat. He had the option to do the right thing after burning me and refused.

            Well...I didn't think spending hours in a Day Spa was my idea of a good time, but I have seen the light! A good friend of mine went here for a Spa Day, and I simply tagged along just for fun. You have to try everything once, right? Plus, my skin looked a bit rough around the edges and needed some TLC. The experts at California Skin Care & Day Spa took great care of me with a gentleman's facial and microdermabrasion that left my skin clean, refreshed, and glowing! After that, 30 minutes in the infrared Sauna left me feeling detoxed and ready for the world. However, it was just the beginning...We then indulged in a quad-jet hydrotherapy whirlpool jacuzzi which was absolutely amazing! Feeling a bit hungry, Ca Day Spa provided us with an excellent organic spa lunch with fruits and alkaline water which hit the spot, let me tell you. We ended our spa day with side by side 90 minute Deep Tissue massages that were literally out of this world! The whole experience was completely magical! I recommend everyone and anyone to come here and enjoy one of their many spa packages! The entire booking process is simple and straightforward. They have a wide list of different options to choose from and it can be overwhelming but more options is better than less. I booked it online Wednesday for the weekend and received a call within a day or so to confirm and go over the details. Excellent group of professionals equipped with an awesome facility and great smiles all around! Love the vibes and everything they have to offer. Will be coming back for sure. Keep it up!
