THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR, DO NOT USE THIS GUY!He seemed very likeable, helpful and knowledgeable when I met him. Dropped off my windlass for rebuild and a week later he notified me he couldn't start unless I paid him **** of the total **** up front (which is illegal in **********). I should have seen the red flag that he only accepted money wires transfers and Venmo. Like a dumbass, I wired full payment up front to save me the extra 20 dollar wire fee. 5 months later I had to bug him to complete my unit. He blamed the chrome shop had covid and supply chain delays, but 5 months later when I picked up the unit, nothing was re-chrome, several parts were not replaced as promised. You could the lying in his eyes and manner about how much to refund me. He will not refund the ****** for the chroming that wasn't done. He has given me excuses for 3 more months about waiting for the bookkepper to do the refund paperwork for ******.I am in the process of taking him to small claims. ***** response to this will be all lies. I have all the texts, emails and calls to prove my case. I would not recommend *** D***** and Coast Marine to my worst enemy. I could have purchased a new one for not much more than the ******* *** charged me. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any business.

Like others before, he collected deposit and has not completed the work. Do Not do business with this Company and ***.

Horrible customer **********************. Took my parts 6 months ago and no response now. 20 emails and text messages. All I want is parts back that he took from my yacht. Bummed

On December 28, 2021 signed authorization and paid Coast Marine the amount requested since they were the repair company that the manufacturer recommended. No warranty was part of the work requested. As of this date, March 3, 2022 we are still waiting for our equipment to be returned to our yacht. Phone calls are not answered, no contact with *** and he does not respond. We went by his place of business but no one was there even though all the lights were on. We wanted to get our equipment and find someone else to fix it.
