      Hello,I have been diagnosed with chronic illnesses which my doctors have been working hard to tackle. Unfortunately I had not been at my firm for at least 90 days before my unforeseen illnesses became life-threatening. So, I wasn't paid for those times off causing me to be behind on the month of December. I had $1400 check on the 8th of December and I offered to come bring in to ***************************** she refused the check. ******** has had a problem with me because of my complaint of the black mold and water spots in my apartment from the water that got through the rough on the apartment above mines. And as unprofessional as it may seem, I believe she was being spiteful because she didn't respond to my emails until today. I have lived here since 2019 and I have a 4 year old child. Despite my recent diagnoses, I have worked everyday and I have done the repairs for the black mold and infestations with my own money. All I ask is to consider accepting my payment of $1946 so, me and my child are not homeless for the holidays.       Hello,I am a single mother who lives in a one bedroom apt #5 on **** Monrovia with my 3 year old. I have lived here since 2019. Despite the spider and ***** problem and rent increase. I have managed by taking extra jobs and utilizing my resources. It has been a struggle. I have been fighting a terrible mold problem in which I brought to ***************************** attention. But have been met with disrespect, vicious insults, and intimidation. I was told several times the black mold since 2022 to May of 2023 was affecting my toddlers health causing respiratory infections and illness relating to respiratory despite my efforts to bleach. Recently I was informed not to speak to ***************************** but to go through ********* Reasoning I do not know. ******** oddly sent me an email Im regards to rent regulations on 5/24/2023 when I am not behind and she is well aware of mercy House assistance. I think its completely unprofessional and given the history comes off as intimidation, despite me paying my rent over the 9 months mold was causing my child distress. She is making me uncomfortable and if it continues I will leave but not without taking legal actions. I work so hard and do not deserve to be afraid of what the landlord intends to do. Also, I have found it sneaky and illegal for her to say she is sending someone in my home one day and I approve entry for that day then she goes earlier without my consent as if shes hoping to who knows. Shes completely unprofessional and I thought this should be known.

      We appreciate the opportunity to address our residents complaint. We take pride in being responsive, helpful, professional and thorough whenever a resident shares a concern or needs assistance. For this particular resident, between Dec 26, 2022 and May 3, 2023 she requested four work orders relating to water damage concerns. A fifth work order was uploaded on May 25, 2023, one day after we received your letter. Each time the resident has submitted a maintenance request for the unit, the appropriate maintenance staff was sent and all protocols and procedures were followed. We documented each of those visits and have specifics if it helps to share them, but we have no record of a spider concern ever being uploaded or brought to our attention. Additionally, our maintenance supervisor shared with our property manager on May 4, 2023 that NO mold was found in the residents unit after a thorough inspection was completed. Regarding the residents claim of being met with disrespect, vicious insults, and intimidation we have not seen any evidence to suggest that is true and feel it is one of several baseless accusations she is making. We stand by our property manager, maintenance staff and the job they have done in attempting to assist this resident. If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
