I had contacted this company in 2022 to help my student loans, the gentleman **** sounded so trust worthy and was so patient with me. I then agreed to their services of paying $39 per month after paying $300 processing fees. After 10 months they increased my fees to $99 with no contract, no communication, no letter, nothing. *** tried contacting them And now no reply. I am consistently calling my credit card company to place disputes for me every month now. The condone of still charging me after my year contract had been over for 4 months. This company needs to be shut down, its nothing but a scam!Initial Complaint

On July 8, 2022 I googled what I thought was the ********** of ********* (***) to obtain information about student loan forgiveness. The person who answered (*****************) led me to believe that she was a *** employee and that she could help me with a student loan forgiveness application. My student loan balance of approximately $38,000 is a result parent plus student loans that I acquired for my two daughters around the year ****. After she had obtained my income information, employment status and work history, and consulting with someone, she told me that I qualified for loan forgiveness of all but $1400. She also stated that if I paid the $1400 up front, doing so would expedite the application process. So, I decided to do as she recommended and made the $1400 payment to Modify Student Loans via credit card that same day. Subsequently, I found out that Modify Student Loans was not the *** but instead a third party company. The only document that I have from them is a Membership Acknowledgement showing the $1400 payment and a $39.00 monthly fee which I subsequently challenged with *********************************** (Processing **********). I requested a refund of my $1400 via phone and text message. However Mr ************** text message reply on July 25th is as follows it looks like your application has been submitted so no refund of $1400 but we will discontinue your $39/month charge. I repeatedly ask **** and *** to provide me proof of action they had taken toward having my student loans forgiven. They promised to do so but never complied. When I insisted on cancellation of my application and refund of my $1400, *** proceeded to tell me about billable hours that they had used on my behalf thereby impacting my refund request. I ask them to provide me a document showing the billable hours she was referring to but as with previous documents I had requested they never provided me anything. I just want a refund of my $1400 and nothing more to do with that company.Initial Complaint

I am a permanently disabled person and was contacted by ********************************* regarding student loan forgiveness. He said he could help me with my loans and charge me $200.00 for his services and $40.00 every month for filing paperwork! I believe this man is doing fraudulent business! He told me if I talked with *********** to keep him informed as my loan was in forebearance because of covid. He requested a BPQ form in which I faxed to him and he never responded back to me. I believe the man knew my loan would be forgiven, and he was just trying to get money from me. I attempted numerous times to call and text back with no reply from him. That is when I became highly suspicious of the way he is doing business! I them called *********** to find out more of what is going on and they told me social security sent the forms and my loans will be forgiven 1/11/2022.Not because of Matts hard work! He took money from me knowing I was disabled and on a limited income! He managed to get $100.00 and I would like to get it back as I dont think he is doing business in good faith .
