I purchased a 2019 momentum 349M trailer in December 2018. At the time I purchased a seven year extended warranty. On December 1, 2023. I contacted *** at Trailerhitch RV and filled out the appropriate form to cancel the extended warranty. Since that initial contact, I have not been able to reach *** by phone or email. I was able to contact the extended warranty company directly who told me that a cancellation has not been initiated, and that I have to deal with the dealership to cancel the extended warranty. That trailer has been sold and is not in my possession. I am losing money because *** at Trailerhitch RV has not initiated the cancellation request.Customer response

I’m not sure if it was a coincidence, but the day that I submitted the complaint I was contacted by Trailerhitch RV. The issue has now been resolved, and I got my refund from cancelling the extended warranty. If there’s a way to update the file, I’d like it to show that my issue was resolved. I purchased a 5th wheel (Forest River Prime Time 305RLP) from this business on February 18, 2022. When I did the walk through I noted that the "Solera Smart Arm... support.lci1.com/solera-smart-arm" was missing from both awnings. He (Salesman A****) said that he would check into it and make it right. Feb. 24, 2022 Havent heard from dealer so I contacted him again regarding missing smart arms Response: None Feb. 28, 2022 Havent heard from dealer so I contacted him again regarding missing smart arms Response: "He sent a follow up email to factory rep" March 7, 2022 Havent heard from dealer so I contacted him again regarding missing smart arms Response: None March 14, 2022 Still havent heard from dealer so I contacted him again regarding missing smart arms Response: "He has a call scheduled for the next day with factory rep and his boss" March 18, 2022 Havent heard anything from dealer so I contacted him again regarding missing smart arms Response: None March 23, 2022 A**** reaches out to me in a text and states " he is not getting any answers from forest river and wants me to contact the factory rep". I text him back and ask "are they not responding back" Response: None * (even though I dont believe its my responsibility to contact the factory rep, I make a few attempts with no response) April 21, 2022 I send one final email to A**** expressing my concern and disappointment regarding the conclusion of this sale ( installing the Solera Smart Arms on the two awnings) Response: None On their (Trailer Hitch Rv) home page for this model: trailerhitchrv.com/product/new-2022-prime-time-rv-crusader-305rlp-166412-5 it lists the Solera Smart Arm at least 4 different times and also has a link to the manufacturer which lists the Solera Smart Arm also.Business response
