I had applied for financing through American First finance on Dec. ******* for a total of $821.33. A white bed from Finns Furniture/ **** Furniture. The owner ************************* hand wrote a document in regard to ordering the item and states that he will contact me via phone once the item has been received to his warehouse and to then pick it up. This was only written due to his computer system not working. Communicated with owner via email and text messages throughout the weeks to follow up on the order status but owner just kept reassuring me that he would follow up week after week. After almost over a month i yet to still received the item and decided to cancel my financing with American First Finance as i am paying for something i never received. Upon speaking with American First Finance representative and advocacy team they informed me that they would need to send a cancelation request to Finns Furniture/ **** Furniture. Once they got a response from the owner, they informed me that ************************* provided them the signed written document stating that i as a consumer had already picked up the item on Dec 16, 2023, and that i am responsible for the remaining financing balance. ************************* did not provide me with any form of an order number or receipt from ordering the item. I have been going back and forth communicating with the financing company explaining to them that i did not receive the item. I forward all text and email communication between ************************* and i and all were after Dec 16, 2023. Tried to speak to the owner in regard to why he informed the financing company false information. He stated that he refused to speak to me as i filed a complaint against him. I then called and called American First Finance fight to get this correct on their end as i feel that i have been scammed. They stated that they will review my complaint again and get back to be about a revision on the decision. AFF Number: ************ *****************************************
