My car a **** ****** Camry XLE original owners had ***** miles at pickup from ******* ** to *************** **. on Jan. 7th 2023.****** the ************** Five Point Auto Transport picked the transport company RNT123 transportation company which he claims was reputable, has an insurance policy for any vehicle losses & was used by him in the past.My complaints are the following;1. My cars exhaust system was damaged in route & it appeared my exhaust was dragged by RNT123 transportation company on street payment and damaged causing car at delivery to sound like a motor boat see attached damaged exhaust stainless steel flex pipe.At delivery RNT123 driver ****** refused to give me my keys in order for me to check my vehicle prior to signing the bill of lading. Once I signed the bill of lading delivery driver quickly drove away. When I refused to sign the bill of lading unless I received my keys to check my vehicle the driver threatened to take my vehicle back to the shipping yard and I would be responsible for $100 per day holding costs. I reported my complaints to ****** broker the following ************ ****** gave me RNT123 insurance company MDX - National transportation insurance company RRG, LLC (NTIC) . After 2 months of getting the run around by ****** ****************** company the insurance company refused to pay my $560 claim due to the fact that per insurance company RNT123 driver was not on RNT123 insurance policy. I asked ****** to get involved and make things right for the last two months and ****** was not responsive nor would return my calls or texts!2. My car arrived with 28 additional miles ***** than was at pickup ***** as noted by delivery driver on bill of lading!3. My vehicle was delivered in 11 days from pickup being towed behind a 1 vehicle flatbed truck which had another vehicle on it. Contract states vehicle to be transported & delivered on a flatbed truck!I am now forced to take legal action, report to the ***************************Business response

The customer shared the photo with us, as it has shed light on the situation. From the image, it is evident that the damage is due to normal wear and tear, which occurred over the years, and it is impossible for our transporter to have caused it during transportation.
As an old car, it is typical for such parts to wear and tear over time.
The picture customer has provided is a clear indication that the damage occurred prior to the transportation. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that our driver could not have caused the damage as depicted in the picture client provided.
Upon review, the image clearly shows signs of wear and tear, which are consistent with the age and condition of the vehicle in question. We have spoken to our driver, and he has assured us that he did not cause any damage.
As a business, we take accusations of this nature very seriously, and we cannot allow false allegations to harm our reputation. We kindly request that you review this before making a decision.Customer response

I am rejecting the response for the following reasons.;
There were several issues that were not addressed not just the one.
1.It is evident from attached photo of Stainless steel exhaust flex pipe that one side is perfectly intact while the other side has been dragged and damaged on pavement to create such type of damage! As a retired ****************** car design engineer I can speak with experience & authority that this type of damage was done by dragging the exhaust pipe on payment and not from normal wear as noted by Five Point transport owner ******! Furthermore this car is low a mileage car with 44k miles, *********** vehicle and we are the original owners!2. Other issues not addressed were transporter put on 28 miles on my vehicle without my authorization.
3. Vehicle was delivered via being towed behind a one vehicle flatbed truck which had another vehicle on it. Contract stated vehicle was to be delivered on a flatbed truck not towed behind a flatbed truck?
4.This vehicle is an original owned car with only 44k miles on it as stated & was driven daily prior to shipping and had no such damage. It was evident that vehicle was damaged in route because vehicle sounded like a loud motor boat at delivery & was quiet upon pick up before transporting.
5. Driver would not give me the keys to check my vehicles running condition prior to signing the bill of lading !
Once I signed the bill of lading delivery driver quickly drove away! I called Five Points transport broker and talk to Owner and ****** to no avail. He quickly defended Transportation company & did not act in my behalf at any time during this issue as well as not returning my calls !
5. Broker ****** tried to get rid of me by giving me RNT123 the trucking companies insurance company and told me to file a claim which I did to no avail! For over 2.5 months, the ***************** gave me the runaround and denied my claim for $560 because they said the delivery driver ****** was not covered under their insurance policy!
Sincerely,
