On Tuesday I booked a room at the good knight inn located in north hills ********** when I went ti check in she had me cancel my reservation I told her but your website took my money off my card an if you didn't have any rooms why allow the website to take my money since then I lost my job because im homeless an I still have not got my monet back an she lied about not having rooms she is an evil room that place should be shut down its nastyInitial Complaint

Me and my friend ******** booked a room for 2 nights at the good knight inn **************. We had a reservation under ********'s name. He goes to the motel to check in, and the guy at the front desk proceeds to tell him that there is no reservation under ******** ******. ******** was under the impression that the reservation wasn't in his name, because the front desk worker just told him that, so he asked if it was under ***********. It wasn't under my name either, so we were told. So we got turned away from our reservation that night, I believe, because they were already booked up for that night and had no available rooms for us. Since we were turned away because the was 'no reservation' in either of our names, it seems only fair that we would get a full refund from ************ I called************ customer service and explained what happened. They said it could take up to 48hrs to get a response from the motel, pretty much informing us if they would be issuing the refund or not. They decided to charge us for 1 night, even though we never even stepped foot inside one of their rooms. I was very upset about this, the motel tried saying that ******** never asked if the reservation was in his name ****** and that he only asked if there was a reservation under My name******. So that's why they were charging us for one night because ******** never asked if the reservation was in his name only mine, had he asked if the reservation was in his name, we would have gotten our room.****** I call the Good Knight Inn motel to inform them that the statement made to************ was incorrect and that ******** did indeed go into the front desk with his ID to try and check in but was told there was no reservation in his name and it was only after being told this did he ask to have them check if the reservation was under ***********. The man I was speaking to proceeded to call me a liar and completely disregarded my statements about what really happened. His employee is lying.
