LONG STORY SHORT-We went through Captain ********* for our move ( NC to ** ). All of our stuff was loaded from our ********************, from Best For You LLC (moving company). When our stuff arrived in ** by Lexel ********************************* most of our stuff was completely broken and thrown into the truck. After going through our stuff, we have realized a lot of our stuff has been STOLEN. (we can tell by opened bags and boxes). Guns, cameras, Xboxs, etc, were all stolen from ripped boxes and bags. Apparently our stuff was dropped off to a warehouse from BEST FOR YOU LLC, then to lexel moving company, before it arrived here. No one will tell us what warehouse our stuff was at, so we could TRY to attempt to retrieve our STOLEN stuff. (we were unaware and lied to)DO NOT RECOMMENED CAPTAIN *** LINES, BEST FOR YOU LLC, OR LEXEL MOVING COMPANY.I have been blocked from the moving companies, as my calls or texts do not go through anymore. edit; it was in fact not dropped off at a warehouse they dropped off our stuff at a self storage unit, that was 4 hrs out of the way, and did god knows what. then had Lexel Moving and Storage come get it. ***** has the information needed to look at this self storage unit, so we can view the camera footage, but will not give it to us. (it is illegal for moving companies to use self storage units)

It is the wrong company for moving, boxes crashes, furniture broken, pieces disappear to much money for broken my furniture

I unfortunately hired a moving broker (My Best Movers) who hired this truly awful company to move my belongings from ******** to ********. The initial company gave me an estimate of $7.8K and when the movers (Best for you moving) showed up the amount shot up to $16K. I had packed all my belongings. As if this extortion wasn't enough, the movers in ******** sexually harassed me. Fast forward 30 days later when my stuff (or rather most of my stuff) arrived in ********. The movers wouldn't unload it because I owed them less than $30 - this difference is due to the fact that I paid them (not via cashiers check or money order like they had told me) but via cash apps - Venmo and Zelle to a PERSONAL account & because ***** took out ~$30 as a fee because their account was registered as a business. After paying this additional $30 the movers did not put my furniture back together (as promised), many pieces of my furniture were damaged, I did not receive 14 boxes nor my marble table top. Of course they wouldn't know this because they DID NOT TAKE AN INVENTORY when unloading my stuff and the drivers of the moving truck drove away while the one mover was helping me move things into my house (the drivers refused to bring anything up the stairs without additional payment, even though i had paid for "stairs"). The movers have not answered any of my calls or texts since September (when they dropped off my belongings). The company just offered me $60 for this. I am not sure on what planet that is supposed to compensate me for the missing items, let alone the fact that they broke their contract with me (and it is my understanding they also broke the law because they didn't do an inventory). DO NOT HIRE THEM

Let me join the chorus about this outfit. Their truck chopped off a large limb of our tree (evidenced by tree pollen covering their truck) while working for a next door neighbor in *************. They denied any action on their part. They refused to provide a contact person let alone compensate ** for the damage. T Not even an apology. They left the limb in the street for the neighbor to move. Run don't walk from these people. One star isn't low enough.

Make sure you send them a 1099 because they only take cash

This moving company charged me almost $15,000 more than the original quote from VanLine out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Both companies are crooks. VanLine did not say they were a broker. Beware...their paperwork says...no hidden fees...won't charge for blankets or other packing materials...etc. on the day of the move, Best for You Moving from N Hollywood,Ca. Showed up in Penske Truck. I called VanLine's and their dispatch Mgr. Said"Don't worry about it, we will get to the bottom of it and go ahead with your move." Best for You said to sign the papers in order to track my stuff. As it turned out, it was a contract and so therefore VanLine washed their hands of any liability and did not return any of my phone calls or texts. Best for You said they are putting my items in a storage unit in Charlotte until I pay the remaining balance of $11,360 and another $2800 for the storage. They finally agreed to only charge me $1400 to hold my stuff in Charlotte, NC. Meanwhile I found out they never took my stuff to Charlotte but rented a storage unit in the new town I moved too. They know that they scammed me out of of an additional $15,000 plus the $1,400 but they didn't care. Now I am at their mercy...this is just plain wrong on all accounts. Am getting BBB and the DOT involved along with the police and an attorney. BEWARE OF MOVING SCAMMERS.!!!!!

From pickup, the movers were in such a rush to finish the job, that they did not take care of my good as they were loading up. They constantly dropped my boxes, placed boxes on the steps and let it bounce down the steps. My 70 inch smart tv, they didnt take care of at all. I even offered to help them and they kept saying they got it. Then when they took it to the truck, they lazily did the same thing as if it wasnt an expensive item and placed it on the step and slid it down and let it bounce step to step.
Once I scheduled delivery, I requested one day, and they contacted me and said they are coming a day earlier. I told them I couldnt make it that day, I need it on the day after at the very least. They then told me I would be charged for the holding fee due to me saying I was ready for delivery. I then called their dispatch and he kept insisting me to just take the day before so it was more convenient for them and so I had to go out of my way and get everything situated and asked a family memeber to come to my house to take the shipment. Then the day of delivery he cancelled on me and ask to deliver on the day I origally requested. With me being out of state, I sent my payment to my family member and I had to wait until they got there the next morning to pay them due to the prior situation. Then the movers wouldnt work with me and I showed him I had payment and he stayed in the truck until I had payment to give them. Then when they started working, they damaged my railing and I brought it up to them and they said they didnt do it. I told them, its a new house, and wasnt damaged prior. After they finished, I noticed my 70 inch tv was in my house. I brought it up and they didnt have it on the truck and then they called their supervisor and he said it was on the truck, but movers told me it wasnt on their truck now to deliver. I highley recommend to look elseware for a moving company.

If ZERO stars was possible they would get that! Company is TERRIBLE! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY-I REPEAT- NEVER EVER USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY! Company showed up to move us and we were already given a cost assessment from the brokers that hired them of $11500. This terrible company reassessed only after their truck was 80% full of my stuff and I was told it would be $17600! Disgusting customer service, HIGHLY unprofessional movers that are IMPOSSIBLE to contact! The scumbag that showed up- named Justin did a terrible job tagging my boxes and multiple boxes were double tagged, increasing the "amount" of boxes we actually had which was one reason for their gross reassessment. I've tried too many times to contact the company but their only contact number is just a voicemail box that is useless as they never return calls or take care of their customers. The movers agreed they would provide weight tickets to us once our items were delivered and this never happened. We made it VERY clear that we needed the weight tickets because this was a military move and need the tickets to submit to the military so we can receive a reimbursement from the military. Now we need to let them know about the missing items that were either lost or never delivered and we cannot do that. NO weight tickets provided, NO contact information provided, ZERO resolution available. AVOID THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY AT ALL COST! This company is a complete scam and they should be shut down and imprisoned for fraud.

This company deserves negative stars. Your stuff will be mishandled, you will be lied to and they will not get your stuff to you in the time promised. I did not choose this company, they wee chosen by United Movers out of Deerfield, FL. Had I known what I was getting myself into I NEVER would have used them. They might also go under the name Perfectly Fast Movers. NOT TO BE TRUSTED with you precious belongings!!!
