I scheduled a move with Osmon Moving & Storage for March 11, 2023. My home was packed and shipped to "their" storage unit in *******, ** where it would sit until I was ready to have my items delivered. Osmon quoted me $240 for 2 units. Once picked up, it took me 10 days to have a confirmation that my items were indeed delivered to storage and that they were in two units, totaling $240 as quoted. Osmon did not notify me the storage facility was an entirely different business, Move Central Storage, with their own financial system and additional protocols for retrieving my items. On April 4th I was charged twice by Osmon in the amount of $1333 for the remainder of my move, it took me over a week to have my concern addressed and money refunded. On May 6th, Move Central notified me a had a balance due of $498, Osmon had not handled my account up to this point. It took a week to reach Osmon and reconcile this amount. On May 30th, I coordinated with Osmon to have my items removed from their storage unit and delivered to my home on June 11th, this was confirmed to me via email with no additional information. On June 11th Osmon movers went to pick up my items and I was told there was no scheduled pick up and that I had a balance of $858 and would need to pay an additional $100 to have the unit opened. It took me 2 hours to work with Move Central to pay and open the units, again, none of these additional protocols were shared withe me by Osmon Moving. I confirmed with Osmon prior to final move date that my account was up to date and I would not be charged further. On 6/11 I was charged a 4th time by Osmon, now putting my account over balance by $240. I have emailed them since that date and have yet to hear back. I am so frustrated by this process, their lack of communication and coordination, and the lie that the storage facility was under Osmon's operation. Moving is stressful enough, patrons don't need this additional stress and poor management.
