On June 22, 2021 **** "Stig" ******** of Stiguitars and Valley Sound Music Technologies agreed to do a re-fretting job on my rare $**** Parker Fly guitar. I shipped him the guitar on August 31, 2021 via UPS at a cost of $119.57 and was told it would take around 2 weeks to complete. This stretched out to 2 1/2 months as I waited patiently. On November 11, 2021, he said the job was done and the cost was $500.00 plus another $80.00 shipping. I received the guitar on November 22, 2021 and immediately noticed severe damage to both sides of the fretboard, 2 frets had fallen off and the fretboard had separated from the neck at a 3" area. I made an appointment with a local professional guitar repair shop and got an estimate for the damage (see attached) The repair pro noted "damages to neck are consistent with careless use of files and abrasives while re-fretting" I sent numerous photos and explained the damage via text and email to Stiguitars on December 3, 2021 and got no response. I again contacted him 12 days later on December 15, and he finally responded via text on December 17, stating "seems like shipping damage", which is ludicrous. I again sent more photos to him on December 22, asking him for all monies I paid him returned and have gotten no further response from him Stiguitars promised to send me back a totally re-fretted guitar in playable condition and instead sent me back an unplayable guitar that has a destroyed finish and is missing 2 frets and put me in a position where I am worse off than when I started! He guaranteed a super playing instrument and his online warranty states "60 days warranty on all repairs from date of pickup" Stiguitars has destroyed my once playable, pristine rare $****.00 guitar and I want all monies, including shipping returned to me in full. A total of $699.57
