Drove my vehicle to ************* to have my steering rack replaced. After 4 days they could not perform the job they gave me the estimate for and said the didnt even get to touch the car but deprogrammed the computer. After they said come and pick up the vehicle. I picked the vehicle up and the power steering failure occurred and locked the steering in place sending vehicle with myself and disabled child into the other lane. Called them to tell them they almost killed us and they hung up. Vehicle was drivable before they deprogrammed it and didnt reinstate the vehicle in working order.Customer response

They said they didnt touch the vehicle only deprogrammed it. Well same as touching and when they did it took my power steering away and steering wheel locking up. Only had the rack making noise before I brung it in and drove safely but with noise for many miles. *** a good feeling driving away on a highway and almost going head on then calling them only to be hung up on and never calling me back. I would have never put my disabled son in that position if Id known. *****

********************** brought his vehicle in stating he was having problems with the steering and left his keys so we could diagnose the problem when we
had the time. I later called ********************** and advised him his vehicle needed a new electronic rack and pinion steering gear and it would need to be programmed which is work we are unable to do. I informed ********************** there was no diagnostic charge and recommended he take the vehicle to
the dealer.
When ******************** came to pick up his vehicle, he came into the office and began yelling and using foul language towards myself and my business partner **** because we were unable to fix his vehicle. ********************** continued to yell and use foul language as he walked to his vehicle and left.
******************** called the office later that day and spoke to **** and asked if he could bring in a different vehicle to be worked on and **** advised him
he would have to take his business elsewhere and ended the call.
