On April 26, 2022 I contacted Braids and More by Char in regards to an text promotion for a Mothers Day braid special. My Appointment was booked for May 4, 2022 at 10:30 am with a $25 Deposit to hold the appointment via Apple Pay as that is the only type of payment she would accept. On May 3, 2022 via text message she asked if I could move my appointment up to 8:30 am or 9 am I agreed to come in at 8:30 am on May 4, 2022. I arrived at the salon on May 4, 2022 and waited outside for 1 hour I text Char at 8:25 am to let her know that I was outside her salon, I did not get a response from her. Sitting in my car for 1 hour wait I check my email and there was an email from Char stating that she canceled my appointment due to being exposed to COVID-19 and need to go get tested. I feel that this was no fault on my end and should be given a refund on my deposit. Ive try to contact Char via Text/email and asked for refund, but she will no longer respond.I feel that she took a deposit from me with no intention of doing the agreed service and has done this to other. Im pretty sure you have other complaints on Braids and More By Char and would like any help you. An give me with this issue. I have a paper trail of text/email on this issue to prove I did nothing wrong, and should be given a refund of my deposit. Thank you
