On February 3, 2024 I signed a Community Fee Receipt with Ivy Park with the intent of moving my mother into the facility on February 29, 2024, the date noted on the receipt. Due to my mother's acute illnesses she passed away on 3/31/2024 without ever moving into the facility. I contacted one of the marketing agents on 3/30/2024 and reported to her that my mother would not be moving into the facility due to her critical health. I was asked to put this in writing since they would need a 30 day notice. 30 notice for withdrawal is not noted anywhere on the Community ************************* Fee Receipt states that if my mother moves in and then leaves the facility in the first 30 days she would receive a refund of the facility fee equal to 80%. If she moves in and then leaves during the second month (*****) days she would receive a refund of 60%. Both of these refunds were to also have a $500 deduction for the nurse to come do a health evaluation prior to move in.After repeated contacts with ******************* General Manager with no resolution to any refund so far I would like ******** to honor their contract and return some of the Facility Fee paid for by mother. I understand that even though she never moved into the facility she would be held accountable for the time her space in the facility was unable to be rented to another. For Ivy Park to return nothing is unacceptable.
