I booked an appointment with a hair braider advertising services on your platform. The business is Exotic Braider Luck of the Irish (Irish ******) located at ********************************************************First, we agreed on an appointment occurring Sunday at 8:00am. She sent me a bizarre message asking me if I was coming in Saturday and I clarified that I would be coming in Sunday. She then requested that I book the appointment through your platform, but the only time available was 10:00am. I then clarified that my appointment would still be at 8:00am, and she responded we can do 9. There was confusion surrounding her pricing as evidenced by our messages. She texted me around 8:00pm the night before the appointment requesting that the service be pushed back, yet again, to 9:30. She also asked me whether I would be supplying my own hair. Her website does not state that customers are expected to bring their own hair. Given the late notice, I requested that she supply the hair, resulting in an unexpected price change (it was too late for me to find a different braider and I also would not get back the $45 deposit I gave her). She was almost 20 minutes late the day of the appointment, forgot supplies so we had to WALK to Target, despite scheduling a wash and blow dry AND asking her whether I needed to bring my own products (to which she never responded) she failed to bring any so I had to spend almost $40 on the necessary products. Importantly, her website is also silent as to the deposit being in addition to her quoted pricethis is an atypical industry practice, a deposit ALWAYS goes towards the total quoted price, that is simply what a deposit is and her website fails to clarify that it will be in addition to the quoted price. She was incredibly rough with my hair, absolutely raking through it with no regard for breakage, damage, or proper practices for caring for curly hair, which she claims to be familiar with. This braided engaged in deceptive practices.

As a business owner in my hometown, I have put in a lot of effort to establish my shop and provide excellent services to my clients. However, the current situation with the reviews has caused significant confusion and negatively impacted my business.I recently spoke with a representative from Booksy who informed me about the "boost" feature and explained that I would need at least five reviews to utilize it. I provided information about my previous shop that I had worked at and the representative copied and pasted another shops reviews to my new shop, without getting my approval. To my dismay, these reviews mention a different location, employees who do not work at my shop, and a completely inaccurate description of the decor. This misrepresentation has led to confusion among my clients and potential customers. Not to mention there are reviews on the other shops employees on my shop.I was initially assured that they would be taken down within 24 hours. However, several days have passed and the reviews are still present on my profile. Upon contacting Booksy again, I was told that they could not delete the reviews because I am no longer working with the previous representative, whatever that means and that they need to verify the reliability of the reviews and they deemed these reviews reliable! This response is both unacceptable and unprofessional, as it is clear that the reviews do not accurately represent my business.I am now left in a situation where I need to track down the individuals mentioned in the reviews, including the clients who posted them for a different shop, and rectify the misrepresentation. This has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience for both me and my clients. I urge Booksy to take immediate action to remove these incorrect reviews from my shop's profile and ensure that such a situation does not occur again.

Last night, my husband and I booked with exquisite touch with *** in Booksy and the business was closed and nobody showed up. I texted the number to which he responded 22 minutes after the booking time of 8:00pm, asking if we can reschedule. We rescheduled for 10:00am the next day and he still never showed up. He texted me at 10:01am saying he would see us shortly and we were there until 11:15 and still never saw him or heard from him again.I just checked and he charged a cancellation fee of $18.76 and blocked my phone number. This is absurd. Booksy customer support has told me all I can do is report fraud to my bank.

Hello, I have used this app in the past and have had previous issues. Recently I restarted my service thru Boosky on the 15th of December 2023. My service was made inactive prior to the 15th. So considering I wanted to pick up new clients I paid for the booking system to be reactivated. I paid on the 15th and everything was fine. Then on the 18th I get a notification that my card was attempting to be charged by the booksy app again. However I keep my card locked . I then began contacting customer service thru a help text chat. I asked why I was being charged 2 days later again and my account blocked from appointments. They told me a policy or subscription that doesn't exist was in place. And that I owed them money for a service that was not currently active. If that was the case then I would owe money for previous months I did not use the service or have it active. I told them to reactive my account from the 15th of December for 30 days or send back my 33 dollars and change. I was told only a manager could do that. I asked to chat with one and none were available. I kept on asking for 2 days to get a response from a manager in text and nothing. Then I called. Was told the person on the phone had no authority over my account and a manager needed to do any changes or refund. I asked when I will be contacted and was hung up on. I called back asked for the manager again and was told a email would be sent to the manager. Asked for a copy forwarding email that a manager had be contacted she said she would sent me the copy and I waited on the phone only to be hung up on again. I called back again, asked.for the.manager and was told no emails can be forwarded what so ever was put on hold to get a manager and was hung up on. I went back into the help chat was told I would not receive a call from the manager or refund after asking for now 4 days now and that the issue was resolved! I am missing out on business. This is fraudulent. They need.to be held accountable!

I have been unable to retrieve money due to me that was processed via Booksy processing. I have been going back and forth with BOOKSY via chat only because, they don't have a working number and refuse to give me a call directly. I have chatted with at least 5 different reps and they all just keep redirecting me to Stripe. I have been in communication with Stripe via email and they have confirmed that my issue is with Booksy as they are my processing platform. Booksy's reps all say the same thing, "please check with Stripe ". I have updated all business info on Stripe as suggested by Booksy and they still won't release my money. There is no working number to speak with anyone directly. I have been very patient yet frustrated all at the same time. This issue was addressed October 7, 2023 and I still have not been able to cashout money owed to my business. BOOKSY is a joke and I believe they train their employees extremely well on how to send their clients on a wild goose chase, with the hopes that we'll get tired enough to stop pursuing what belongs to us. I work hard for my money and will not stop until I receive it. I highly recommend any and all companies looking for a way to market their business stay as far away from BOOKSY as possible if you want your money. I have started the legal proceedings in order to collect the money that belongs to me.
