Booksy are thieves!!! They will not give you your money when they make. Mistake on their end. They offer a monthly subscription in the place of your money and will not give you the remaining owed even if it's more than the subscription. The customer service reps only talk through chat and will dismiss your complaint and tell you to email another department!! They are trash! Plus you pay for a subscription then they take money from all of your services!!!! Just use square.Review from Victoria S

I began to set up the app to use for my new business location in *****, but after reading many concerning complaints decided to go with a different platform. It was brought to my attention by my son that the platform was still showing my listing on the ****** search engine. After checking for myself, I discovered the listing was still up, active, and was allowing for bookings. You can see where this would be hugely problematic, as it would make me appear to be a bad business owner, or even taking appointments on a fake account if people are setting appointments through the app, and Im not available for them. Ive contacted Booksy on three separate occasions and requested to have my company data and all listings removed, but here I am weeks later still showing active on Booksys platform. It seems the only thing I can do is make a request and take their word for it that they will take the listing down and remove my companys information from their database. In the meantime, ** left with the concern that people are possibly booking through their app for services and I am not available for them, so it makes my business look like a scam. Its sad when yours simply trying to do good ************** cant simply make a clean break with this marketing company without having to beg them to just do their job.Review from Matt R

I've spent hours trying to get my two pre-payments back, both of which were for appointments cancelled by the ******. Booksy customer service reached out, twice, and both times I spent time giving them all of the information, and they then tell me it isn't their problem, and I need to contact my bank. The most convenient, inconvenient application for booking my salon + clients. My account was created on May 3rd, 2022. Since then, I have lost so much income from miscommunication, loop holes, and poor accountability on their end and sometimes mine. It is such a struggle to switch to a different application for booking. That is why I am still using the service. I do not understand why there is an option for the client to choose whether or not they can be charged at any time theyre only answer as to why, cancellation fees are always trusted service is to choose to charge prior authorization bookings, which are not feasible in my *********** a nail technician and I work at a nail salon. I have been experiencing issues with Booksy since August 2022. I had a trial with them that I cancelled before an actual subscription could start, but my card has been charged $29 per month without my authorization. When I called Booksy to verify that my account was cancelled, they confirmed it was, but my card continued to be charged. They told me I must have another account, but I made it clear to them that I did not.I was told by Booksy that I needed to dispute the charges with my bank, but my bank said I needed to contact Booksy to get the charges reversed. I only have one debit card, so cancelling it would mean I would be without a card for two weeks, which is unrealistic and not something I should have to do due to Booksy's incompetence and lack of willingness to help **** called Booksy back several times and provided all of my card information, but I was never contacted back after being told I would be. This cycle has continued for months. I was then told I needed to email screenshots of my bank statements showing the charges, which I did, but I was never contacted back. Despite providing my card information and bank statements, Booksy has continued to charge me and has been unable to stop the charges or find out why my card is being charged without account information, an account which I do not have.Today, I was rudely hung up on by a representative named ******* and told to go figure it out with my bank. I would like my money refunded and my card information removed from their database. I find it inexcusable that a company would treat their customers in this manner and consider Booksy to be an unprofessional and inadequate company. I will continue to write reviews and file complaints with the consumer protection agencies. I have kept all records or my interactions with Booksy and will not stop until my money is refunded. I was a victim of a scam on Booksy and they made it extremely difficult to be reimbursed. I booked an appointment with a hair stylist that had a fake address posted on her page. After paying a booking fee (that went straight to the fraudster), the hair stylist ghosted me and marked me as a no-show on the day of the appointment. Naturally I was a no-show, but through no fault of my own. This didn't matter to Booksy. They stood by their policy on no refunds if the salon marks you as a no-show. How could I possibly show up if I was given a fake address and ghosted? I had to jump through serious hoops to prove my case through my credit card's fraud department. In the end of the day, my credit card company reimbursed me, but that doesn't change the fact that a random fraudster still got paid out of all of this. It's nearly impossible to leave a warning/ review on a scammer's booksy page because you can only leave a review if the scammer marks your service as "complete".Review from Tisha M

Called customer service twice already because I keep getting bookings from this automatically generated profile that does not reflect my pricing or availability. Booksy has cost my barbershop countless clients and revenue. It was consistently telling our clients via the Booksy app that we were completely booked when in fact we were not. I had an unusual amount of openings in my schedule all of the sudden and then multiple clients were telling us that our schedules were appearing through the Booksy app as completely booked for weeks at a time. Contacting their customer service was pointless. They have a customer support thread through the business end of the app but they would never respond to our messages. They would also never answer our phone calls. The issues were never fixed and we were forced to find a more reliable booking app. This is the worst booking app Ive ever encountered in all my years of barbering. For the sake of your business please avoid using Booksy.Review from YA

They keep texting me with no way to stop because they text me from 21 different numbers - no joke, have screenshots. This should be illegal. Some are finally getting blocked my service provider as spam but still there should be an opt out.
