Let me start off by saying that I am disgusted, offended, and highly annoyed by how I have been treated.1-2 months ago I completed multiple audits for this company on behalf of Survey.com Merchandiser and suffered multiple wrongful denials of payment unlike anything I have experienced with any of their other clients, which led me to believe that it is more an issue with this company, in this instance, than Survey.com.Below I will note each audit and list the errant wrongful excuse to coldly justify non-payment followed by my explanation and that I did nothing wrong or incorrectly to not be paid for my time, trouble, and effort!---Back To The Roots - ********************* @ Target at Target(Store #**** - ***************************************************************) completed on 01/09/2024, there were no ****************** photos. I remember THOROUGHLY completing this audit and I typed notes about the backroom and non-allowance of scanner pictures. I am not going to risk expulsion from a store because of this.... absolutely not!Back To The Roots - ********************* @ Target at Target (Store #****************************************************************), there were no backroom and scanner photos. I remember THOROUGHLY completing this audit and I typed notes about the backroom & non-allowance of scanner pictures. I am not going to risk expulsion from a store because of this.... absolutely not!Back To The Roots - ********************* @ Target Rd2 at Target (Store ***********************************************************************), the Endcap not found. Missing backroom photos.I remember THOROUGHLY completing this audit and I typed notes about the backroom and non-allowance of scanner pictures. I left notes about this smaller store's layout and that they specifically didn't have any endcaps of the merchandise and that is not my fault if they didn't have any!! How can you deny payment because of what a store did!?!? I am not going to risk expulsion from a store because of this.... absolutely not!---Initial Complaint

Order *******. Ordered two sets of mushrooms. One set never sprouted, and the other produced very few mushrooms, not as described. Contacted them to request a replacement, they never sent one. Then emailed to request a refund, they never applied a refund.Business response

We responded to Cheryl's email on December 20th about her mushroom kit and that we would send a replacement, but we were asking for further information for our records, and we did not hear back from her until January 29th where she asked for a refund. We have refunded both of her mushroom kits on February 8th and February 9th, and emailed her to let her know about the refunds.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I only wish it didn't take multiple emails and a BBB complaint to resolve.
Sincerely,
Cheryl *******Initial Complaint

Very disappointed with Back to the Roots. I purchased multiple bags of their "All Purpose Soil" and was shocked when I opened it and it was just bark and twigs. It was indistinguishable from cheap, low quality mulch. I transplanted seedlings into this "soil" because they needed to be repotted, and it was the only soil I had. I left a comment on a Back to the Roots ********* post, and they encouraged me to send them an email at ********************************** for assistance. I emailed them a week ago (request #******) with pictures and got no response. I sent a follow-up message and included information regarding the status of my transplanted seedlings (they are dying), and I have still received no response. I have purchased other Back to the Roots products in the past without issue, but I believe their soil is a complete misrepresentation and a scam.
