      On 5/6, i purchased hair at their ****** location(*******) inside of ******** I reached out to Mayvenn via email inquiring about getting a refund and they stated that I would have to return the hair where it was purchased. I explained that I'm no longer near that store location and that I travel for work and will be gone for 2 months and was told unfortunately it has to be at the store location. Their return policy doesnt state that are returns are subject to location purchased and I want my money refunded. I can ship this hair to them certified mailing. I want my refund for this purchase $346.36. I feel that alternate options should have been provided. How do you refund customers that are tourist that support your business? Please provide me an address where i can ship this hair and then you can mail me my refund check or send electronically.

      I purchased hair from Mayvenn retail store, (**** location in *****) in July 2022, the deal was you purchase hair and the company will pay for your install, so your install would be free. The free install is good for six months of purschase. The company will send a voucher for you to use at the time of service with the stylist. Well I would was going into the retail store because they had demo days so i never received a voucher they would use my order number to give to the stylist and that is what she would turn into Mayvenn to get paid. Well I contacted the stylist last week to advise i wanted to set up an appointment to get my hair done because i am going on vacation in October(which is within my time frame). I was advised by the stylist that Mayvenn has discontinued the free install as of September 1, 2022 and they are only honoring the free install before September. So i call customer service to get my voucher because the store is no longer doing demo days so she would need a voucher to get paid. I contact customer service and they advise me that I would need to get my order number form the store. I get my order number and call them back they advise me that they can't create me a voucher because they no longer creating them. I advised her that at the time I purchase my hair I was entitled to the free install because that is what the company advertised. I was not notified of that I needed to create a voucher before they cancel the program, I was just aware that I had six months to use the voucher. I feel the company needs to honor what was advertised this is the reason I purchased my hair from the company because of the free installs. I was not notified by the company that I need to create a voucher before they ended the program It is the company responsibility to honor what I paid for in July. My order number is W342804131. I paid over ****** for hair and was promised a free install. They are unwilling to make things right.

      I made an order with this company February 24, 2022 with an estimated date of March 04, 2022 for completion of services i paid for. Over the last month, theyve mis scheduled my appointment or provided me with services from unqualified stylists, which they have said themselves. Because of their negligence, I had to come out of pocket with $150 which THEY told me the stylist shouldnt have charged me. When i contacted them I was told I would be refunded to my debit card. I didnt see the refund so I did some digging and saw that they ended up paying the refund towards my ZIP installment payments with them scheduled for every 2 weeks, and now are expecting ANOTHER $70. I asked them for my money back and was given an incorrect form of refund and at this point I want all my money back. Theyve made me miss out on work because of this and ruined a milestone birthday for me and all parties are refusing contact.

      We do understand your complaint and because of the inconvenience you were issued a new order free of charge on 3/14/22 - our records show you were able to successfully pay for the order with the voucher we provided you with. This is the 2nd replacement order, and voucher provided to you. For the inconvenience and having to pay the stylist directly, it was our goal to attempt to rectify the inconvenience. 

      You were also offer a store credit at that time which you declined, as we are not able to refund your credit card directly. At this point you're still welcome to the $****** in store credit. As it is our goal that each client is completely happy with the service and hair we provide. If you accept the offer, please let us know and we will add the store credit to your Mayvenn Account.

      I initially purchased 3 bundles and 1 lace closure (14/14/16/18/) of your loose wave brazilian hair (W808207743) on 8/20/21 for a total of $274.95 and had it installed on 8/27/21. The stylist installed my closure incorrectly (see pic), the braid down was too tight which caused hair bumps in my head and there were a lot of short, loose hairs close to the wefts which stuck up in many sections surrounding my middle part. I contacted customer service 9/15/21 and did an exchange order for (3) 16 Peruvian deep wave bundles and (1) 14 Peruvian deep wave lace closure (W827144745). I then called cust ser again shortly after placing this order and spoke to a lady there at which time I explained what style I was looking to achieve, she then suggested that I get the deep wave brazilian hair instead of the peruvian.So, I exchanged the peruvian hair for the deep wave brazillian hair which I received on 9/21/21 (I didn't receive an order number for this brazillian hair). I had this hair installed on 9/22/21 and asked the stylist if she could blow dry it. She said yes and that it would return to its normal curl pattern after washing it. After I left, the hair started falling out like crazy. I washed it appx a week later at which point there was hair all over the place in my shower, on the floor, in the sink, etc, and tangled something awful and I had to cut it out piece by piece. I called cust serv again on 10/5/21 and spoke to **** who said they didn't recommend blow drying deep wave hair. I asked her why the stylist didn't know this and she said she didn't know but that she would allow me to make another exchange. I called back AGAIN on 10/13/21 and decided to order (2) 16 and (1)14 bundles of the Brazilian yaki straight hair and (1)14 lace closure. I had it installed on 10/22/21 and not surprisingly, now this hair falls all over the place each time I comb it! I just want to return this mess & get a full refund which includes the $48.92 credit that I currently have.

      I am rejecting this response because ALL of the hair that I received was bad! This includes the yaki straight hair that I currently have installed in my head. I dont know what you put on the hair, but there is definitely some kind of coating on it to make it look beautiful and shinny right out of the bag. But after washing it, it turns into a tangled birds nest and the hair starts to fall out each time its combed!   Ive included pics of this yaki hair that is constantly falling all over the place everytime I comb it!  I even sealed the wefts before I had it installed as one of your cust serv agents advised!  Additionally, ALL 3 OF THE MAYVENN STYLISTS that I used said that they constantly receive complaints about Mayvenns hair. One stylist went so far as to tell me that she doesnt color, cut or manipulate Mayvenns hair in any way because from past experience, IT DOES compromise the integrity of the hair. Lastly, as indicated previously, Im disabled and therefore dont have the energy to personally do my own hair everyday. This is why I do sew ins . BECAUSE UP UNTIL NOW, THE HAIR WOULD LAST FOR YEARS OR FOR AT LEAST A YEAR! AND .. I COULD WASH IT, COLOR IT, ETC WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT IT GOING BAD!  To sum it up, I am on a fixed income and dont have the money to throw away $300+ on BAD HAIR!

      My name is *************************** and I received your message (see below) noting that my case has been closed. I just want you to know that I havent reached out any further concerning my complaint because Im on disability and not well. However, without a doubt Mayvenns hair is misrepresented as it goes very bad after being washed although they claim that this is human hair! 

      Additionally, on top of being ripped off for hundreds of dollars, I currently have a credit in the amount of $48.92 that I would (in the least) like to get back as I assure you that I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again.
