-Date of illegal charges made by Advent: 8/13/23 -$1000 security deposit they are stealing. Plus asking for more money. -Egregiously Overcharged for "Painting, cleaning, etc."-I have so much proof that they are not only committing blatant crimes (fraud, unfair business practices) but also their long history of scamming many tenets for security deposits.-They have not tried to resolve it. I have called with no reply and left a voicemail and text. -I have a video of the unit the day I moved in and the day I moved out. There is no way I should be charged with lies. They are also asking for even more more money. This is so illegal.-I can provide any and all evidence upon request. See the attachment for a full statement of misconduct and bad business practices by Advent.They are a scamming business that needs to be investigated ASAP!Business response

Any communication between the two parties now requires written communication (preferably via email) as this issue(s) is currently classified as a legal matter. I am still awaiting the business actual response.

I believe that there has been price gouging of cleaning fees. I have moved out of this apartment and the place was pristinely clean (able to provide photos of the empty apartment if necessary). However, there has bee a $570 cleaning fee with no other explanation that "A to Z cleaning fee". I have reached out to the company and have not heard a response from them for over a week.Business response

Thank you for letting us know about your concern regarding the cleaning charge. ***************************, our manager to make units ready has contacted you via phone. He has let you know we made a clerical error and are charging $200 - not the full charge. It is true that professional cleaning changes have gone up 25-30% over the last year along with other prices. We apologies for the error.

Hello,I rented from Advent Properties from March 2021 - March 2022. I chose to rent from them because at the time I was working for them. During my time at Advent I was instructed to create fraudulent invoices coming from a made up business called "Jr **** Improvement". They create these fraudulent invoices so they can charge exiting tenants as much as they possibly can and use the money on other things to upgrade the apartments. They also would not disclose to owners that things are being marked up and would create invoices to send to them where the **** up was never reflected. I chose to depart from this company due to their unethical behaviors. I moved from the property I was renting from them last month and I am now being charged for "damage" I know I did not cause from the same fraudulent invoice I used to assist them in making. I feel this company needs to be investigated because what they are doing to people is wrong and unethical.Business response
