I wish to complain about the customer service at Saf Keep Storage. I am complaining because I am unable to access my storage unit due to fire loss. I spoke with the Manager a few weeks ago regarding the monthly payments. Today I received a Notice of Insurance Cancellation email from the Assistant Manager Liz. When I spoke to her she demanded payment or the insurance will be cancelled. While the manager and I came to an agreement to waive the monthly payment and she said I don't have to pay the recurring monthly bill. When I spoke to Liz she demanded payment or the insurance will be cancelled. Liz was very rude and uncooperative. Due to the fire loss, the storage is not accessible to the tenants, only Employees are allowed within the unit. I felt as though I had no right to my belongings and said ' I'm telling you have to pay'. I took this as a threat to my belongings and made me uncomfortable as my personal items remain in the unit. I tried to explain the situation and she disregarded my worries. This is an ongoing issue, her lack of empathy has caused emotional distress. This has also affected my work productivity. I am looking for clarity, the conflicting responses are causing confusion and I just want my stuff back! My claim is still pending and without access to my unit I can't give an exact amount of the damages.
