Im a senior. I went to see Dr.Peggy Ram a dentist near me. My intent was to establish care (annual cleaning,x-rays, fillings, etc). I was told I needed two root canals and crowns. June 7,2023 she completed the root canals and crowns,nothing else. Less than 3mo. later they both hurt and the area is inflamed. I have a very good partial that Ive had for years that no longer fits in my mouth. I live on my social security, but paid $150 cash (I cant afford) to a root canal specialist for a consultation to see how the damage can be repaired. It wi cost $1,000s. I may lose the teeth. Ive since found out that Im not an isolated case. Several ppl in my complex (a senior complex) have gone to her bcs shes so close; where she tells everyone they need root canals and crowns and other very expensive work. It is almost impossible to contact the Dental Board in CA so these bad dentists can keep victimizing ppl. while they make a lot of money from the Medi-cal system by telling ppl they need this high priced work. Meanwhile she gets paid,and the victim is stuck w/trying to get help to recover the damage. Im also blaming the state for not aggressively addressing this issue. Personally, *** worked and payed taxes my whole life and deserve better. This woman is a Predator, practicing in an area that is mostly seniors and lower income population.
