              I purchased a thinkcar Thinktool pad 10 on April 3 2022 from a verified seller on Amazon. It was advertised as being able to function on fca sgw, a paid subscription to be able to diagnose certain vehicles. After I set up my account it did work for a few months. It stopped about 8 months ago. I contacted thinkcar and was told it was anything from a software issue to updates, WiFi connection, etc. I was told to purchase an account through them to make it work again, which I did. It never worked. After a few months of working with thinkcar customer support, it still wasn't working. I was told it they can't get it to work that I would be refunded, which I was. My problem is that it is still under customer support since my updates are still current, but I have lost an important feature and thinkcar can not fix the software issue. The engineering team has been involved many times and I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer support to no avail. ********************** offered no solution when the fault is a definite software glitch as indicated by their team.

              This company is advertising “ cost effective and most powerful”. Both described characteristics are not true. I paid for Thinkcar2 $150. Hardly never used after one year they want another $150 + $40 for every special Funktion software. This is absolutely not cost effective compared to other manufacturers all with lifetime free updates. You buy this Thinkcar2 and you’re in the trap. You pay every year or through in the bin. Paying is not worse the money. Powerful is something else. I have multiple testers. This is mostly fake functions. This company is ripping you off ones you step in the trap.
