      Hi ****** -

We have tried to reach you by phone, email and SMS, to address your concerns and questions. it appears you have opted to swipe our calls and ignore our communication. We will be glad to address your concerns here.

You are correct, you have been making payments for just over 2 years; however, this program is a 240 month program. 240 months = 20 years. 2 years is 24 months. Do you see how making 1/10th or 10% of the required payments, may mean that you have to keep going in a program in order to achieve the benefits at the end? It makes sense to most, but not all.

Unfortunately, because you work an hour or 2 a day from home, you do not qualify for any additional forgiveness benefits and you must complete the entire program to qualify for that 240 month  forgiveness. Regretfully, due to your insufficient funds on your last 3 payments and your public complaint and dissatisfaction, we are unable to assist you further and you will be required to get back on track or start all over somewhere else. We wish you the best of luck.

This business will not reply to my emails asking to cancel my account. They have been scamming me out of $49.97 a month, and then I asked to cancel, they charged my bank account again. This company does nothing for you. They claim to help manage your student loans, but they change your information and dont actually do a thing. They consolidated my student loans and charged me $1600 saying that was the fee of consolidating the loans. Come to find out, that $1600 was just going in their pocket. I never got student loan updates because all my information was changed, including my phone number and my email. This group of people are crooks, and the website should be shut down. I have copies of bank statements to show everything. It is sad that a place like this is able to prey on students fresh out of school claiming to be a service that helps the government. I have been paying $49.97 for almost 2 years now, and they were saying payments were happening toward my student loans to reach forgiveness. No history of that whatsoever.

In Aug 2021 I was consistently contacted by Student Loan Movement stating the government had limited funds to reduce student loans (similar to the $10,000 just passed by legislation). I explained I was already on a income driven repayment plan program of $0 monthly for debt forgiveness. Student Loan Movement stated this was different, and the funds made available by the government was an effort to reduce student loan debt obligation. They offered to help me qualify for the Government Monies to help reduce my student loan obligation for a upfront fee, plus a monthly fee until the loan was completely paid for. I asked, after my obligation was reduced if I had the ability to pay it off early, the representative stated yes. The representation stated I qualified for a reduction from approx $89k to approx $29k. So I signed up for assistance. One year later, Student Loan Movement is stating they never stated they it was a debt reduction program, but simply qualifying me for debt forgiveness after ************************************************************************************************************ into paying them for something I already achieved on my own.Student Loan Movement management team returned my call, stated it was absurd that I would have that understanding and refused to allow me to review the onboarding call or transcript. I would like Student Loan Movement to release the audio of EVERY call, of every communication, between myself and Student Loan Movement.

Thank you for taking the time to file this complaint. We appreciate your feedback. We have reached out to Ms. **************** or ***************************** and addressed these concerns. The complainant understands that she was approved for a program that provided a payment of under $50 per month on an $85,000 loan she has owed and not paid on for years. It was clear what SLM would and would not be providing **************** and those services were provided. Per a disciussion with ****************, SLM agreed to a partial refund of the recent fees paid so that SLM and **************** could part ways amicably and peacefully. SLM began the process of refunding her most recent transactions, then **************** thought it would be best to go back on her word and the agreement and file this public complaint. Her desire to intentionally renege on our discussion has now nullified any verbal agreement SLM had with her to provide any further refund. We wish **************** the best of luck moving forward. This complaint is considered closed and no further reply or response will be provided.

This business said they would provide us with the ability to get me and my father's loan forgiven and lowered. So me and my father decided to agree to this program. I paid 199 dollars for 6 months. My father paid 249 dollars for 5 months and $29.97 for one month. Me and my father realized none of this money was going to our loans and found out that this company was taking our money and would like a refund for our money.

We have addressed this with the client ********************* on 9/22/2021. ************** called in and we spoke about his concerns. Client was aware and acknowledged that per the Service Agreement that he even uploaded here to this complaint, that Student Loan Movement (SLM hereinafter) was to review their documentation, prepare their application and submit the application, complete and in its entirety to the *** in order for them to apply for and get approved for the benefits and program they requested. In exchange for these services, ************** and his father were to pay enrollment fees for these services through a separate trust account until their application was approved and their initial $0 payment was initially due. ************** and his father were both approved for the program they requested on 5/14/2021 and they were enrolled in the Income Driven Repayment program. When we spoke with **************, he acknowledged that they were both approved for the program they requested and that the result of the approval was lower than what they originally anticipated. During that conversation, ************** and his father declined the additional monthly services and re-certification benefits, therefore his file was complete and he would owe no further monies for the services that were solicited, approved and provided. THEN, on 9/25/2021, ************** decided to file a complaint, after acknowledging the services provided, confirming that he and his father were in a far better program and place than before they enrolled and after reviewing the Service Agreement they both signed individually for these services. It is very unfortunate that ************** now, AFTER our conversation and AFTER his acknowledgement that the initial payments went to the program fees decided to go online and contradict himself and play victim. ************** has been approved for all benefits he claimed in his complaint and SLM considers this case successfully closed.

We have spoken at length with Ms. ********* ***** and have a better understanding of her complaint. We were not quite sure what she was referencing about "da last 3 years." Nor were we clear on who she was referring to when she stated "Dey didn't cancel service n still trying to get money out my account." Ms. ***** (*********?) enrolled in the program in March of 2019 and asked us to assist her in preparing and submitting the documentation to get her loans consolidated, eligible for and enrolled in an approved Income Driven Repayment (IDR) program. Mind you, a program she had no clue existed and no idea how to get enrolled in or qualified for on her own. For our services, we charge a fee. Clearly stated in a recorded verification call and expressly written in SIGNED documentation. We have to assume that she was able to comprehend what she was enrolling in after physically signing documents and verbally agreeing to terms. Further, Ms. ********* ***** agreed to have her log in information updated as she again, had no clue what her logins were or how to access her account or loans that were delinquent at the time of enrollment. Ms. ********* *****, again understood that to continue monitoring, managing and re-certifying her program and account, we charge a fee, monthly, in addition to the payment she was approved for by the USDOE. It is very easy to sit back and throw stones or tell half-truths or fabricate stories of your understanding 2 YEARS into a FORGIVENESS and IDR program that you had no clue, no idea even existed. Now that you are in a better place, approved for a $0 payment and on your way to forgiveness, you want to throw shade and wag your chin at the little people that got you there along the way. Shame. Most of those we assist are grateful for the guidance and services we actually provide. Some, you just cannot please. Unfortunate. Rest assured, your file is canceled and you are free to navigate these loans on your own. We wish you the best of luck.

this company is lying. They tried taking money out my account after I canceled before automatic payment was due, we I got this service I was about to have my first payment, I did know about this program, I was told on the phone I qualified for 10 year plan not 20 year. They did change all my information security questions, email, address, and password. I have attached my letters to provide this. I don't have to lie. When I talked to that man he was rude and tried forcing his lies. Telling what I agreed to which was also lies. When I told him a ******* officer told me for the last 3 years my monthly pay was $0 not $49 and to stop paying her got even rude talking about him. He also sent me the transcript of the conversation if I needed them. The only time I received any thing from *** **** is when I had to call them to reset my information. Because they changed all my information so I couldn't get it and know my monthly payments was $0.

We consider this case and matter closed. There is no reaching ********* ***** - she just gets loud and belligerent. Ms. ***** did qualify for a 10 year PSLF program, until she decided to quit her government job, collect unemployment and work part-time as a Customer Service rep. Because she quit her qualified job and took an unqualified job, her program went from 120 months (10y) to 240 months (20y). That is on her. Work a qualified job, get more forgiveness. Quit a qualified job and collect free unemployment, it is now a longer program, 20 years. Very simple, for most. Oh, and this is September 2021, so March 2019 is only 2 years ago and not "da last 3 years". As stated previously, we have canceled her program and she is free to navigate the repayment programs and options on her own.

The reason I stopped working and took unemployment schools closed everywhere because of covid March 2020 along every other substitute across the country. Yes I did take a part time job I had a high risk pregnancy at the time that had me on bed rest from June - December 2020 which end preterm still. Yes I did keep the part time job. I have 5 children with school in the air yes I did. They lied and said I started off with a 20 year agreement and changed everything to say 20 years which is a lie. They never tried contacting me I contacted them. Yes I got pissed off because he was rude and disrespectful. He got cursed out he tried over talking me but he couldn't. They illegal changed my information my going into my account changing my information. I'm sure they have closed everything now since my bank stepped in after trying to take payments out my account that wasn't authorized after I canceled service with them. They didn't cancel the service on the 3rd like I was told but only when they was contacted by BBB.
