******************************* in an unprofessional monitor who does not follow the industry standard Supervised Visitation Agreement terms . I am the partner of the custodial parent and was designated to drop off for a supervised visitation while he was at work. The non-custodial parent got out of her car and as we walked over to the park to meet ******* for the "exchange," she yelled at the child in a ***** voice: "WHERE IS YOUR ******** This immediately triggered fear in the child and she froze in her steps. (Her mom lost custody due to substantiated abuse). When I attempted to address it with ******* - she cut me off, dismissed my concerns immediately, (stating there is no restraining order) and then told me I was the one making things uncomfortable.There are several issues here: 1) the non-custodial parent is to be within an audible distance from the provider during all interactions with the child (******* was still in her car several hundred yards away), 2) the non-custodial parent is to arrive AT the designated time (this was 10 minutes before the visit), and 3) the non-custodial parent is not to ask the child about the other parents whereabouts. 4) there is never to be any yelling, shouting, or spanking.What's more, the child cried for 1.5 hours after the visitation. Stating her feelings were hurt because "mommy and ******* kept talking about how you are a stranger." NOTE: I have been helping her father raise this sweet child for nearly 4 years, while navigating her mother's addiction and CPS cases. I'm hardly a stranger - but more important, why did ******* not address the confrontation by the non-custodial parent in order to protect the child? We are stuck with ******* and it has made an already sensitive situation MUCH worse. We were really hoping for peace of mind, but we have none during the 4 hours/week she's in her care.
