    Alignment Health is going downhill with their Access card customer services. They promises to issues some small money into the card as rewards after members getting immunization shots or mammograms. Yesterday I was surprised when the phone agent told me that member have to call them right away after receiving those preventive services. I couldnt find this rule stated on their Access card app and asked when it changed. In the past, I had mammogram in November 2023, and received this reward immediately after calling them in January 2024 with no issue. Now I had the mammogram service in December 12, 2024. I called to inform them in the first week of January 2025 but didnt receive the reward immediately such as last year. After a few days, I called back on 1/8/24 and unfortunately talked to a terrible phone representative. She accused me that I already got this reward in Jan 2024 why calling again? I had to explain to her that it was for the service I got in Nov 2023, and I was calling now for the service I just got in Dec 2024. She refused it with irritated tone that I had to call immediately after getting service, and she couldnt help me!I told her I have never been informed about this rule, then asked to talk to a supervisor. She irritated warned me that the supervisor would say the same and if I still wanted to talk to the supervisor (!) This is not an appropriate customer service to **** told her yes, I wanted the supervisor to confirm me about this new rule that I never heard before. The supervisor didnt want to pick up my call at all! Then the unpleasant phone agent told me to call back after a few days if didnt receive the reward money!!It becomes a hassle in order to get those small rewards. These services eventually will be filed in their computer system. Why giving hassles to customers by forcing them to call to inform about these health services they got? Hopefully they will improve or I have to find another health plan for my well being.

    I have been with Alignment Health since 1/1/2024. I am a disabled retired person with cancer. I am into the second quarter of the year and have yet to see my ******* Care Physician and am just getting to see an Oncologist. The pcp I was assigned to doesn't work there anymore and new PCP isn't onboard even though appointments are made. Just getting referred for labs. I will be looking for new coverage my next open enrollment. I have never had such a bad exxperience with health care and the *********************** I needed Ostemy supplies and had trouble getting those ordered with no PCP. Took over a month to get that straightned out.

    It's a SCAM company. I picked a physician from their online portal. They assigned him to me with the phone number on the health card, that doesn't even work. They take two weeks to "investigate" and give me a different number affiliated with the ****** that tells me I can only call there to make an appointment.They told me, "Call until you get through, they only have two lines". She then says, "You have to go to the ****** to make an appointment". Are you kidding me? I have to go to the doctor's ****** 1 hour away to make the appointment in person. I am disabled!!!!! Their phone doesn't even work. We are 17 days into the month, still no healthcare. So I gave up on getting through. Called Telehealth doc and told the doctor that I need care, and labs because I have new onset dizziness. The doctor said, "That must be so frustration. Call your insurance company to fix the primary care physician situation". Are you kidding me? No referral to urgent care. NOTHING. These people are literally pocketing our ******** money for nothing. The fitness benefits tells me to go 16 miles away to join a gym. I live in Manahattan Beach and they gave me 4 gym options 16 to 20 miles away. This is the most disgusting plan I've ever had. It's a total SCAM.

    Like others say Alignment just denies and denies. Their support staff is not qualified and just wastes customer time. Very poor company for ********************** care. Sorry I chose them for my ******** advantage.

    At every turn, Alignment Health Care will send you letters saying Denial of Coverage for technicalities. They will try to wriggle out of every situation where they should pay their share. I've already switched to another insurance company for ****.

    I have been with alignment for a couple years I've stuck up for them I've got people on their plan. But you can't go anywhere unless it's at least 35 miles out of the way and good luck trying to find a ride. So I have the new flex card I have money on there but then they tell you well there's a link but they can't give it to you they don't do anything they just now called and hung up on me. You get money on this card but I'll be darn if you can get anything off it and then they don't even tell you about this link instead they call you back and hang up on you you guys need to get your s*** together

    I have had the ****** Advantage plan offered by Alignment Health Plan for two years. For the first time, I felt the need to speak with a mental health therapist for anxiety. For the last two months, I have been trying to find one that will take Alignment Health. Despite multiple assurances from their "concierge" and "escalation" departments to the contrary, no such provider has been found. Since 10/6/23, I have called 14 times to try and get an answer. The best I was offered was a therapist located 400 miles away! Most disturbing is the fact that there was no follow up from my "concierge", and I never received the promised return phone calls. Here's what I've found out: (1) No therapist in my area accepts Alignment Health Insurance, If you need a therapist, you're out of luck; (2) the online service recommended by them, Teladoc, is pretty useless as it's impossible to get an appointment that's less than two months out; (3) their "concierge" service is good at sympathy but can't/won't provide constructive help. You're basically on your own. If I wasn't already suffering from anxiety, I certainly would be after this experience! It's open enrollment time, and I will not be re-enrolling.

    THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They don't pay their bills. You get billed from all your doctors and labs because they don't pay them.

    I'is not a well managed nor organized health plan. They promise the moon, but fail to deliver it. Problems with finding a PCP, 8 attempts and I was able to get an appointment 3 months out. Nations OTC is a JOKE! It's their supplemental benefits provider. They did switch to OTC Network and now the benefits don't even show **. I ended ** in the ** and admitted to in-patient hospital for 6 days. Shortly after discharge, I get a letter explaining ways I could have avoided the ** visit?? I'm sick enough in the ** to get admitted to the hospital for 6 days but, I should try to avoid the ** tin the future. Alignment makes a futile attempt to practice medicine. They are relentless in their pursuit to intervene between patient and doctor ************* I may be old school but I put my faith and care in the hands of my doctors, not insurance carriers. Alignment needs to recognize its role as an insurance company and start performing like one.Why it is so highly rated with ******** is beyond my comprehension. I believe it is a sham.

    Alignment is the new king of the clown cars.Alignment ******** Advantage plans are new to the *********** this year. They entice you to join by marketing zero co-pays for your PCP and Specialty Providers.There are very few PCPs and Specialty Providers they have enrolled in this market. Some PCPs are only PAs and some require a costly annual membership per year.Most PCPs and Specialty providers are recruited to their network by their patients.Customer service is friendly but lack basic healthcare knowledge- There is no ability to request a supervisor. Their appeal/escalation **** also lacks basic medical knowledge and are unfamiliar with most imaging or procedures other than basic healthcare.Their formulary lacks some basic drugs. Eg: Lidocaine 5% transdermal patches are priced $280/month (determined on appeal to be tier 4) when the VA and most other insures classify this drug as tier 2 at about $17/month.They use Prime Pharma to manage their Part D benefits. Prime Pharma displays a D or F rating on most website reviews.I'm voting with my feet when I can change insurers this fall. Unfortunately Alignment is way over their skis.
