I went to the *** store to return an item purchased online from ******. The item is a small battery a little bigger than a wallet. Shipping to me was $18 from ****** and when I went to the *** store, the person helping me seemed confused as to how to proceed. I gave her the box it came to me in and told her I was returning a purchase to the sender's address. She waited for the other employee next to her to become free to ask them how to do it. I was then told the cost was $62 to ship it.. I did not know at the time that it only cost $18 to be delivered to me. The item is only $125 plus shipping to buy.... The order was processed incorrectly by the employee and not entered as a return, so the receiver was charged and additional $82 which was passed on to me. So the total to return ship a $125 item was $144.. I went back to the store after the item was shipped out and speaking to *** and the receiving party. *** indicated the store processed it incorrectly and the fees are way off for shipping and there should be no customs charge. I ****** supporting documentation to the store and left if with them, the employee that had helped me was not there and nobody was willing to help, they said I need to speak with her and took my info to pass along to her, she never called back after 14 days. I returned again to the store and she was not there, the manager explained that she only worked 2 days a week and I had to talk to her. I asked for the owner info which was refused and the manager was not willing to discuss my case, saying once again that I needed to speak to the employee who I believe is named ******. I left my info again and never heard back and it has been 3 weeks. I messaged customer support for the franchise corporate website and gave an explanation of what was happening and they simply responded "elaborate". I told them any elaboration further than my email should prompt a phone call from them and I have not heard back. Seeking shipping difference and customs $.
