On 5/2/23 I took my vehicle into this transmission shop because my car has codes stating that there is an issue with the transmission. I spoke to the receptionist told her the issue that I was having it was no charge for the diagnostic test. Afterwards when I did get a call I was quoted and was told that certain things needed to be done to figure out what is wrong with the transmission. After the weekend they called me back and told me that there was not a person that could do the job and that I would have to take it to a different transmission repair shop. By this time ** quoted a smaller price and now out of money for nothing done. I still have the same problem and would need to take my vehicle to a different shop and pay someone else to do the job they have done. I did pay them the amount but do not feel its right to be charged if I have to go to another transmission shop. They didnt do the work and Im frustrated that now I have to pay someone else to do what I initially wanted done. I dont think I should have to pay as they didnt deliver the job at all. To have to pay twice is ridiculous and these types of jobs arent cheap. Please help me as I feel like this is unfair and wrong. Thank you for your time. I had my car 2017 **** focus hatchback towed to California Transmissions located at ******************* located in *********** California on January 20 they have had my car for over seven weeks now I called talk to them on Monday and they said they my transmissions got fell out of the car and cracked and now they cant get another one from four because its on back order but they found a used one in ******* that it wouldve been ready Monday, March 7 I did not hear from them they have been giving me the runaround with my car being finish on certain dates and I have not been finish and they said they wasnt going to charge me the full amount which was $3200 ended up being $4200 And I just need to make sure that they dont give me an old transmission in my car plus Ive been taking less and its costing me a lot of money I am not married I am a single woman I would appreciate the Better Business Bureau for helping me in this matter thank you *************************
