Hello, so this complaint was filed for Braun's Auto Service, but this is not one of our customers, we rent from Browers Towing which is the business that needs to be brought to attention, that is the tow service that most likely impounded there vehicle and put the hold on it, Brauns auto service does not impound vehicles or put any holds on vehicles we are strictly an auto repair shop. sorry for the mix up but Browers towing is the company that needs to brought attention for this complaint. thank you

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I look up browsers towing and it doesn't show up just Brauns. So what do I need to do restart all this because it's been nothing but an inconvenience since day one I mean cmon

I had taken in my diesel the first time on 07/22/2022 to Braun's Auto Service. One of the things I got fixed was the coolant leak/ they found bypass pipe leaking they removed, resealed and installed new coolant. As per what the invoice says. That was $455. However, as of 10/19/22 to present, the coolant leak is still leaking through the bypass pipe which I previously payed them to fix. I have the invoice from 10/19/22 stating that they checked for the coolant leak and thus found the bypass line cracked. Specifically, I spoke with a man named ****, who works there and worked on my diesel both times. Also, he was pushy and rude and said in order to fix the bypass pipe leak they would have to charge me an additional $600 or more for parts and labor not to mention that I would have to wait over a week for the part (pipe). Why should I have to pay for the same repair twice? Why would it cost more the secobd time? Aren't they liable, since I payed them to fix the issue and less than 3 months later it is still leaking? I feel like they are trying to financially rake me over the coals, perhaps because I am a female. I declined the the $600 coolant leak repair and subsequently had to pay them $65 for a 1/2 hour of labor to access their own mistake on my truck.
