I logged into my account with A touch of Glass in advance to pay towards a windshield. $400. Made an appointment for the next day which would be April 23, 2024. Having conversations with the owner through their website. In the upper legt corner of their website i was able to click on the payment tab to where i was able to put in my credit card number to pay towards a windshield. Did payment they emailed me a confirmation receipt. Paid. So i take my traverse in to get the windshield put in. They told me they got the payment and i would just pay the difference because it came out to $520. I guess they do not have an account linked to that payment i made on their website. Now why would they have that on there if they cant get the money it says right on there "Payment". So they couldnt find the 400$ credit i put down nor the other 120$ to complete the payment in full. They ended up keeping my car overnite which was a huge inconveince. And had to pay cash on top of the payment already received. So 520$ is floating around somewhere in there database and i just paid over 1000$ for a windshield. Why would that option be on there website??Business response

Ok I explained this to the customer I didn't know the website took payment and I couldn't find the payment coming in so yes she had to pay cash we been scam before and unfortunately I could not find the payment, also why would she get a $1040.00 refund you still have to pay for the windshield I told the customer to dispute it with her credit card company I try to refund it thru the website but it won't work so she still has to pay for the service so all she owe back is the $520.58 which I TOLD HER TO DISPUTE THRU HER CREDIT CARD COMPANY. I just now left her a message telling her to dispute the $520.58 thru her credit card company and if that doesn't work to call me, I don't owe her a payment $1040.00. Yes, she owes back the payment that she made thru the credit card company and if she can't get a refund from them to call me.Customer response
