I purchase the 2012 RAM 2500 on 3/8/2022 in perfect running working condition like it was described. By 3/10 it needed an oil change, and within about a week we had to take it in for a check engine light. We’ve sent it in to the dealership to be repaired 4 times and the check engine is on again and has come on two days later each time we received it back from them saying it is fixed. Blow i attached the picture of the all the service history they have provide, this dealership untruly sold me a vehicle with defects is creating a huge problem for my daily life as i can not rely on it.
(I would like to add that when I said a perfect working truck what I meant was it appeared to be a great truck we did only test drive it around the block of the dealership and truly wish we were told about the defects and parts needed before the purchase.)
1. Not once when the truck was returned to us did the staff mention that we were waiting on a part that was back ordered at least 3 months. It wasn’t until the last communication we had with them in hopes of returning the truck they mentioned the part order.
2. We were sold on the idea of the truck having a bed cover, which comes to find is not only broken but rusted so badly it’s sealed on. We spent hours trying to remove it and most likely need to hire a professional to replace it.
3. There is another light that has been on along with the engine light. The tire pressure light, and we have asked about it multiple times and yet always seems to be on.
4. We have brought the truck in multiple times at least 3 and each time they have it for 1-3 weeks and we just feel that if it requires that much time to band aid the engine it isn’t a working truck and should be returned.
