      I canceled my subscription before the renewal period and still got charged $30 for a full year subscription.

We are very clear about this in the terms and conditions on Groupon and state it VERY clearly upon redemption of the Groupon. ****** did reach out to us after her account renewed requesting a refund which we provided her with in a timely manner. Attached is a screenshot of our communication with her. Please advise if you require any additional information. Thank you.       In January 2019 I used a ******* for a one-year online membership to The ***************. I was charged again in 2020. I misunderstood the misleading approach of how they require you to cancel and seek a refund. My mistake. But I then cancelled and had no membership but was still charged $30 in 2021, again my account says I have no membership and no payments made. AGAIN this January 2022 I saw a charge on my credit card. The charge says $30 to The ***************. I logged back in to The **** ************** website and my account says no membership, no payments made, but here we are with a credit charge. I want to have a full refund/reversal of charges and have my credit card removed from their files or whatever company they outsource billing to. This is the third year in a row I have been scammed for $30 for a membership I don't have according to their own website!! They also say that if you dispute the charge with your credit card company than they will refuse the dispute and refund "in order to protect their business." I need them to fully refund and remove my information from their biller.

We are very clear about the membership being on auto renewal until cancelled. The cancellation is the responsibility of the member like is the case for all other online subscription based websites (*******, ******...etc). We have never mentioned that we would refuse a dispute because that is not our company ethos nor do we have the authority to do so. Once a charge is disputed the decision to reverse the charge is up to the credit card company and not us. Attached are the receipts and proof of refund. I had already responded that the company refunded the money and says they have cancelled my account. However when signing up with a ******* it is NOT clear that it is an ongoing membership. Perhaps they have changed the wording since 2019 when I had made my purchase and it is more clear now. Regardless I am accepting the refund and cancellation and want nothing more to do with this company.

      I was charged a recurring withdrawal of **** I was not aware (when I signed up for a year of classes) that it was an annual membership. I would like to remove my credit card from their files and get a refund.

      Business Response /* (1000, 20, 2021/12/16) */ Hello, This Customer purchased a Groupon membership for a year and registered the account Aug 25th, 2019. The registration process for the groupons are such that the customer is registering for the year they purchased via Groupon and it auto renews at $30/year thereafter unless cancelled. This is made clear upon registration. The cancelation process is simple via our website. I just checked out email archives and this customer never reached out directly to us to ask for a cancelation nor a refund. I have now cancelled the account and issued a refund. Please advise if there is any additional information needed.
