I paid a deposit of $470 to secure Able Bartenders services for our July 9, 2022 wedding. On July 8, 2022 he canceled. He has not returned my emails or returned the deposit. A detailed timeline follows:Dec 22, 2021 ************************* of Able Bartenders emails me in response to an inquiry I sent via his website to work our July 9 2022 wedding. We email back and forth to discuss details (emails attached)May 6, **************************************************************************************** person. May 8, 2022 **** emails me a final contract (attached) for his services specifying Price: $1,878.00. Deposit of $470.00 to be paid 3/10 with balance of $1,408.00 paid upon arrival at venue. May 10, 2022 **** and I meet to discuss the event and to sign the contract. We both sign the contract, he keeps the only copy. At his request, I send the $470 deposit via CashApp (receipt attached).Jun 23, 2022 I email **** regarding urgent information needed for our event in two weeks. June 26, 2022 I call Bills phone numbers ************* business and ************, personal) both out of service.June 27, 2022 **** calls from a ****** Voice number *************). He assures me that everything will be taken care of for the wedding. July 8, 2022 (12:30 AM)Receive an email from Bills account claiming to be a friend (*****************) notifying me that **** has been hospitalized and will be unable to work our event. July 8, 2022 (7:59 AM)I inquire if there is any way to have access to the materials or labor described in the contract in Bills absence. No response. August 1, 2022 I email ****, requesting our deposit back. No response. August 3, 2022 A friend has booked Bill for an event in October 2022. Based on my experience, she asks **** to call her. He calls and expresses intention to work her event. She brings up her concerns, and mentions my name specifically, asking the circumstances around his cancellation. He denies knowing me, or what she is referring to.
