I bought these elitetac flashlights. Yeah, the only reason I bought 2 of them even is because they hyped them up to be so powerful that you can see them 2 miles away, that you can light a fire with it. It can burn through anything. And I have flashlights like this that I bought at ********** These Alitetac are nothing special and I paid forty dollars a piece for them.Initial Complaint

I seen an Elitetac commercial for thier flashlight they claim is not a toy or for children as it is like a lightsaber & can burn through objects & can actually cook food on it which is totally false advertising as it does nothing they claim it can & I can't believe they can even put that on TV without it being checked out first to see if it does what they say it can & if there isn't a entity that does that there should be before they can advertise their product.Initial Complaint

I bought this flashlight because it advertised that it is so bright and can get so hot that it can start a fire and even cook eggs. I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas because he thought it would be perfect to bring camping. If it really could start fires, that would be ideal while camping. He was excited to try it this summer when we took our once a year camping trip. He got the flashlight and put batteries in it. It is no better then any other normal cheap LED flashlight and it certainly does not get anywhere near hot enough to start a fire, even on super dry paper inside a house out of the elements. It is no brighter then a standard LED light. False advertising and high price makes me very angry. I would like a FULL refund for the price of the flashlight plus taxes and shipping because it does not work as advertised. This was a scam to take my money and it ruined the Christmas gift my boyfriend was looking forward to using. If I had known that it does not work as advertised I would never have bought the EliteTac. I want a full refund of $48.20 to cover the product, tax, and shipping.Initial Complaint

I bought this flashlight solely on the advertisement on TV it says that it can burn things burn wood start fires cook food that is a lie I got this thing today put fresh batteries in it I have bought cheaper and brighter flashlights for half the cost buyers beware do not waste your money on this false advertisement like I didInitial Complaint

This company advertises that their flashlight can start a fire or cook food. This is not the case. Thier advertising is misleading and false.
