I reached out to American Leak Detection around November of 2023 to do a leak analysis of my home and pool. The technician came to do the analysis and his analysis was wrong about both the pool and home. He stated it was the ** as the cause of the leak in the home, I payed an ** person to come out and he was there for 5 minutes and said that analysis was wrong and he actually reviewed and told me where the leak was coming from and I reached out to American Leak via email and informed them, they sent the tech back out who stated he was wrong but then just repeated what the ** guy told me. It was clear that he came to the house and NEVER actually did a review. He also said the pool did not have a leak which ****** to be wrong based on the issue that I had with the pool, I reached out and told the company that was also false they stated they would send someone out and after countless attempts to get him back out he never came. I then hired another company who did an analysis and also said it was IMPOSSIBLE that there was actually an analysis done on my pool because it was obvious there was a leak and they actually fixed the issue and now I no longer have the leak. American leak then reached out that they want to send someone out now, however , I do not trust that they would actually do what they are supposed to do as they have been falsely claiming to have done an analysis in the past and now another company has actually completed the work. Now they have been calling and harassing to collect payment for services that they are fraudulently charging for.

I contacted them to fix a leak. I signed an estimate for $3200. After multiple contacts they did not fix the leak and I notified them they would not be paid until and unless the work was completed. On 12/1/23 I received a receipt which I took to mean they had decided to write off the work rather than complete it. They have subsequently made a threatening phone call and send a collection letter

I contacted American Leak Detection (ALD) at the suggestion of a plumber to locate a leak we suspected in our home. A Leak Detection Specialist, ***** ******, came to our house on 2/25/23. He searched for the source of the leak and cut several holes in the walls. He was unable to locate the leak. ***** did put painters tape on the walls (where he cut the drywall) and the floor (where I showed him the hot spots). He did not 'detect' any novel information. He was in the house less than 1 hour. He charged us $400, which I paid on 2/25/23. After a discussion with my husband, we realized that ***** did not complete the task we paid for. However, I waited for the plumber to come and assess the situation. The plumber came on 3/11/23 and agreed that the report generated by Americal Leak Detection did not assist in locating the leak and did not help the plumber in any way. I contacted ALD via email on 3/12/23 to express my concerns. I did not receive a response. I contacted again on 3/18/23 and I received a reply from ******* ****** on 3/22/23. We spoke on the phone shortly after that. I verbally requested a refund. ******* asked me to provide the plumber's report, which I was able to send to him via email on 4/17/23. The plumber's report supported the lack of work completed by ALD. ******* did not respond to that email, nor subsequent emails on 4/21 and 5/5.
