Their rental agreement favors the landlord or owner, and of course them. Read your lease very carefully, better yet, take it to a legal service for review. It doesn't favor the tenant. They will send it to you through email for you to sign electronically. Better to take your time on this one. If you sign it in the office, take your time, and do not rush, it could cost you. Their leases expire at the end of the calendar year. Who moves around the holidays? My first lease was 10 months long before they sent me a renewal with $100.00 a month increase, then harassed us to sign it or else. They want you to pay your rent online for a fee of $1.20. You pay a fee to pay your rent? They left me a nasty email because I deposited my rent through a mail slot or inconvenienced them by paying in person. They require you to carry renter's insurance (it's a good idea anyway), but they want to be added to the policy as additional insured. My insurance company refused, they only insure the people who live at the residence and it prevents the property owner or management company from making a claim on your insurance. They prefer to communicate online with little human interaction. If you don't have a computer or have difficulty using a computer, you will have difficulty with them. They want you to go online for repair services. If you call the and reach someone, you are lucky, especially on the weekend. They are slow to get repairs done. The A/C never worked right when summer started. It was couple of months and several repairmen (some a little shady) before someone showed up and knew what he was doing. It took him 10 minutes to make the repair.

Scam artists. I submitted an application online for a rental property. I paid the $45 application fee. I submitted the information requested on the application to allow it to go through. I did not submit it very private information, like attachments of paystubs, since it was not required until I knew my application was accepted. I got no response. 3 days later I got a voicemail that the place had been rented. I requested a refund of my application and they refused. They said that my application was incomplete, yet nobody notified before the apartment was rented. Beware of their shady business practices. Looks like a money making scheme and not a real, stand-up business. No wonder the 1 star rating.

If I could give this company 0/0 stars, I would. My partner and I have been renting with All County Desert for over a year now and have never been late in paying rent, but for some reason we have consistently had issues with management and staff. When we first moved in, management insisted we wait about two weeks to move in to the property because there were “significant” repairs needed. Once move in happened, the apartment was still disgusting. The floors were dirty, the new air conditioning filters were still on the kitchen counter, etc. I reported this to management with no reply. In the last year, everything in the apartment has seemed one step from completely breaking or falling apart. The “significant” repairs completed were not apparent to either myself or my partner. Management also left the key lock for viewings still on our door, and threatened to charge us for the value of the lock if not returned. I felt this should have been handled before then, and the burden shouldn’t have fallen on us as the tenants. These experiences truly show how incompetent All County is at managing even a simple move in. Last week, All County placed a Three Day Notice to pay late fees or threatened eviction on our NEIGHBOR’S door and not our door. They began the eviction process over $125, instead of calling us. It was also a breach of privacy due to improperly serving our neighbor instead of us. The doors to the apartments are obviously marked. We panicked as we have never been late on rent; it was paid on the first. Our rent had increased after the lease expired and I was told by TWO employees of the company to pay the old rent rate and that the new rate didn’t began until February 2022. Our calls regarding the confusion weren’t answered or returned and management decided to handle this all by email in the span of four days, insisting I was wrong, instead of calling either of us back. Management (Lisa C******) insisted I was wrong and threatened our home and tenancy unless they received their money. Please be aware that if you have an issue, the office will (most likely) not pick up your call and if you’re expecting a call back from management, good luck. As a customer, I expect a call back when I’m confused. I was told I was verbally threatening the manager, even though neither myself or my partner have EVER spoken to the manager. I expect respectful treatment as a tenant and I’d assume the same for other renters as well. It’s disappointing, disgraceful and seems this experience is about average when compared to the majority of other reviews.
