I received a $5 check from Movocash, a company Ive never heard of, saying it was for account closure. To my surprise, I didnt even know I had an account with them. I had to ****** the company. Apparently scammers use this site to open accounts in other peoples names unbeknownst to the victims. I wonder what other information they have of mine.Review from Daniel A

This is the worst service ever! Tried for 3 months to get an actual physical card -every time I called was told a card "was in the mail" Never received it! Closed my account so I could find an actual cash card that I can use. Run, don't walk, away from this crappy service!Review from Donald A

Some one opened a account in our name. And did $1750. In charges. They put money in then took it back out with 16 pages of withdrawals. I'm think this is a way to funnel money to bad people.Review from Jason R

I received a security monitoring alert that an account with ********************** was opened in my name. When i called their customer service they said they cannot find the account. I called back and got a different rep and they saw an account in my name. I asked them to close it out and was told to call back in 48 hours. This is ridiculous that a fraudulent account can be opened and they do not have a resource to close it.Review from Ashley T

I have sent multiple emails to MOVO regarding an account that was fraudulently set up in my name. They replied to the first email and said that the account was closed and flagged as fraud. I have received almost 20 emails confirming deposits, purchases and transfers through MOVO Cash. They are now not replying to my emails and the customer service phone number listed is "no longer active".

Someone opened an account using my email address. I've received hundred of emails regarding the account and deposits made to it but I did not create the account and it isn't my name attached to it. Called customer support and was immediately hung up on. So now, some **** has an account, linked to me and Movo is no help.MovoCash, Inc Response

Movo cash is fast & efficient way to send cash, deposit, make cash cards to selected vendors for payment without worry of re occurring payments suggested by vendors etc. I love using my Movo account !MovoCash, Inc Response

I've been a MOVO customer for several years. They got found by the money launderers and a reasonably good thing went sideways. Locked accounts. Bad Id verification contractor. Money frozen. If you KNOW that these things can happen going in, then MOVO is a 3. In my neighborhood the card only reliably works at Kroger and Walmart. Any other merchant and all bets are off. I use them as a buffer between my real bank and my eBay payments. That works ok. DO NOT DEPEND ON MOVO AS YOUR PRIMARY MONEY STORAGE.MovoCash, Inc Response

I called MOVO customer support, if you can call it that, and got no closer to resolution to the merchant acceptance issue than I was before I called. Specifically, the card does NOT work at Meijer, nor at either of my local gas stations. I used to send my paycheck there until the funds got locked up in the laundering cleanup. Try to contact any of the executives...they are ghosts. After about 20 calls, I was able to unlock my funds. Only thing good is the monthly fees are really good. It's a poster child for buyer beware. Have Tom call me. He's got my number.
