They sold me an old scooter as new that was not meant for public sale according to the manufacturer. They only accept debit cards and cash so that you cannot get a refund without going to court so that is what we are going to have to do I'm afraid. We have proof from manufacturer. Bought what we were told was a new scooter. It was malfunctioning and the label was falling off so we brought it back. They gave us a replacement...again broken with a sticky throttle. Major safety threat so we brought it back. They said No Returns at all. We have to take it to their authorized dealer for repair. We contacted the manufacturer with the serial number and that is when we were told that they should not have been selling that 3 year old model as it was meant for the rental market and not resale. It wasn't new and was defective and they made us keep it. Cost was $600 plus tax.Initial Complaint

I purchased a scooter for $333.74 on December 15, 2021 while in the store I heard the Owner day he had problems with one of his scooters not working. I said I hope this one works. He said "if you have any problems just bring it back and I will take care of it." After opening the box I put the scooter together and charged it for 5 hours as was recommended by the Owner. Following day I tried turning on the scooter, and the scooter did not turn on. After several failed attempts. The next day I took it back to 520 scooter in Paramount California, which was a Wednesday and the shop online said they were open, but the sign on the door said it was closed. After 3 different Attempts of driving to the shop, and multiple phone and texts attempts. I was able to get a hold of the Owner who told me " I don't have any more new scooters but I can give you the floor model, and if you have any issues, just bring it back and I will take care of you. He turned it on and let me test drive it, but when I took it home and let my wife ride it. She got to around 12 to 13 miles per hour and the scooter locked up which caused the wheel to turned. The momentum forced her off the scooter and the back swung and hit her right ankle causing a laceration to her skin cutting to the white meat. I also test drove the scooter after her and it also locked up on me two different times. When I went to charge up the scooter with the charger the Owner provided me with I also noticed the charger did not work. I tried different outlets to make sure with the same results. I took the scooter back to the shop and spoke with the Owner who asked me if I had my receipt. I said yes and showed it to him. He said "I can't exchange or give you a refund because it said on the bottom of your receipt no exchanges or refund, and it's passed 15 day's". I explained to him it was passed 15 days because he was not in the shop or answering my calls or text messages. And this scooter was defective like the previous one.
