      We just discovered that charges for this company on REMOVED. We had no idea we were being charged. Called the company today and they claim to be charging us for "tech support." Stay away from this company. We asked that they cancel our account and all of a sudden the REMOVEDsaid. "Sorry, I can't help you. Our billing department is closed." I left one star but if there was a spot for zero stars I would have checked that.SCAM

      Their upselling is one of the most frustrating activities I've participated in. They are so enthralled with selling other products that they are too busy selling that they can't take the time to understand your issue and help to resolve it. Their practices and "policies" have everything to do with helping their position at the expense of the customer. Their practice of tacking onto your purchase with other products that have a fee with the "if you don't want this, let us know in 30 days" borders on deceptive when I expressed that the only product I wanted was the one I was asking for. When confronted with this, I got the "too bad, it's our policy". They can have their policy and I have mine. I have a policy of not doing business with companies that are out to sREMOVEDme out of my money. I hope this will help others that may be investigating their products for their use.

      My experience with RealDefense/IOLO has revealed a troubling pattern of non-responsiveness, misrepresentation, and disregard for their own contractual obligations. The company auto-renewed my subscription for $79.95 without providing reasonable notice, then made false statements to my financial institution during the resulting chargeback dispute. Even after prevailing in that dispute, they canceled the license I was forced to pay for. When I attempted to resolve the matter through arbitration, as required by their own terms, the company refused to participate. They avoided service, failed to register their arbitration clause, and declined to pay the necessary fees. As a result, the REMOVEDvoided its arbitration agreement entirely. Despite multiple opportunities to resolve this issue amicably, RealDefense/IOLO chose not to engage in any good-faith communication.The companys actions raise serious questions about its integrity, transparency, and overall business ethics.

      A few years ago I downloaded the free version of RealDefense product Super AntiSpyware and eventually moved up to the paid version of the product. I was under the impression that my monthly payments were the cost of the product but was hit with an yearly charge that was not expected. When I went to review my subscription details I discovered there was no portal to access any of my account information with subscription details on the site or on the app on my computer. I had to reach out to customer service just to figure out what exactly was going on. The service I was paying for monthly was for live tech support - which I was not are of and the yearly charge I'd just received was for the product itself. This was not clear when signing up for the product. The customer service REMOVEDpushed the blame onto me and did not offer a refund. When i asked to cancel the service the support tech was pushy and hesitant to stop the services. I had to ask three separate times to have the services stopped. This operation is incompetent at best or at worst, has malicious intent to deceive and take advantage of customers.

      I purchased iolo System Mechanic Ultimate Defense 1-year subscription iolo LiveTech 24/7 Technical Support 26 December 2024 and cancelled this order 28 December 2024. On 21 November 2025 I received a charge on my credit care for auto renewal. On 23 November of this year, I called customer service and spoke to REMOVEDabout a $90 charge for renewal that I did not authorize or approve. She told me that the charge would not be reversed because the subscription cancelled was different than what was renewed. I never used or activated the original subscription from 2024. It doesn't seem proper or fair that this company can charge as they do.

      The company sends our emails via affiliates that make it seem like you are already paying for a service, but the renewal payment failed. When you click on the link, it brings you to a website to sign up for an annual service subscription. This organization is 100% fraudulent. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
