      On Sept 6th, 2022 I called and sent an email to this location to cancel my surgery due to medical reasons that the athenix was aware. They asked me to wait for one month (business days). I had been waiting for more than a month and they haven't refunded the money back to me. I have proof of communication via Email between athenix and myself due to this issue. **** the office manager was ready to take my money when I came to this location but she hasn't had the courtesy of following up with this situation. I'm asking for my money back and some type of compensation for the whole inconvenience that I when through with this location.

      To Whom it May *********************** was an issue with the patients financing company (Patient Fi). Our dashboard displayed the patient's account as "expired spending limit" as though the terms had expired. This prohibited us from allowing canceling and issuing a refund. Because the terms showed as expired it appeared as though the financing company never charged the patient.

      Patient was very nice over the phone and seemed to understand the issue with the financing company and the expired spending limit.

      Original request for the refund was submitted on 09/06/2022, then again on 9/30/22. Patient was aware of our refund policy and we did speak with the patient and confirmed there were no funds to refund as the terms had expired.

      Patient did not call again until 10/31, sending me proof of a statement. I then reached back out to Patient Fi and Alphaeon and had the representatives assist with canceling the financing terms. The patient was subsequently sent a text with proof the of the cancellation.

      The patient has been refunded and we apologize for any delays.

      I went for a free consultation on 9/23/22 and was seen by *****. She told me someone canceled a procedure for the following week on 9/29/22 and if I take that date I will receive a discount and if not nothing will be available until January. I felt pressured on getting it done right away. They financed me *************** for $5,500, I already had ******** and was charged $7,800 and the remaining balance on my *********** account for $2,175 a total of $15,475 was charged on 9/23/22. Unfortunately I couldn't proceed with the procedure so I called that same day 9/23/22 and left a message regarding the cancellation. I spoke to ***** the next day on 9/24/22 regarding the cancellation for the procedure on 9/29/22 and the nurses appointment for 9/26/22 and the Pre-Op with the Doctor on 9/27/22. On Monday 9/26/22 I spoke to **** as was told I would be charged a $1000 cancellation fee. On the Procedure Quote it clearly states the fee applies within the 14 days before surgery and after the Pre-Op. I didn't even have 14 days to be able to cancel, I only had less than a week and I did not see the Doctor so I don't understand why I will be charged. I should be able to get 100% of my refund.

      I paid ******* the FULL amount of my surgery that was canceled and was informed that my FULL refund would take UP TO 30 days for me to receive. I've e-mailed and spoken to Athenix ******** saying that the manager is not in to process my refund.

The patient was already refunded the full amount of her procedure on 9/7/21, nearly 3 weeks ago. If there are any further questions, please contact our office directly at **************.
