I paid the price and waited for service completion(toughest part). My vintage watch now, despite cleaning and crystal replacement, has a spot on the interior that can only be removed by total disassembly. 2 visits to LA Watch Works and just under $3000.00 spent. Watch devalued greatly. I have tried to call and email LA Watch Works to discuss issue. I received 1 reply (below): We're happy to address it but it must have been there previously and we did not notice it while it was here. Please note, we did not pull the crystal out nor did we drop the movement to install a new balance staff along with the crown replacement. Best regards, ***************************************************************************************************************** ******************** I would like return of parts replaced (crown and balance staff) and fees charged due to negligent handling of this vintage watch. I have placed a picture of area on watch to represent concern. I have also attached invoices from LA Watch Works for work they claim to have completed. The watch has been to LA Watch Works two times. According to their website they are passionate and discerning with efforts to restore vintage watches. I do not feel that a clearly visible rust spot would be left by watch repair / restoration subject matter experts.Business response

Consumer Response /* (-5, 9, 2023/01/10) */ ***Document Attached*** LA Watch Works Owner called me on 1/3/2023 and we talked for 10 minutes about my concerns. I was provided a shipping label to return watch for inspection and repair. The owner assured he would prioritize repair of watch, treating it like his own piece to resolve issue. I sent the watch back to LA watch works for a 3rd time (not working) on 1/04/23 and was advised it arrived in ************ safely on 1/05/23. I have attached the email. The case remains unresolved as I await news of LA watch Work's findings and estimated return date. Consumer Response /* (-5, 10, 2023/01/17) */ ***Document Attached*** LAWW notified me on 1/13/2023 via email that issue with my watch had been identified and their team was working to "sort it out" I'm still waiting to hear what specific problems were identified and what options are for returning my watch in working order.
