Ordered parts from Mondello Performance on 06/26/24 totaling $801.00 and never received the parts. I have emailed them numerous times and never received a response. I have called and left messages numerous times and never received a response. Ordered these items January 7th and haven't received any written or email response about parts not being available. I've called over 50 times and spoke with H****** 5-6 times only otherwise voicemail. The time I spoke with H****** received excuses and promises but ultimately haven't received anything from my original order. Unable to pursue credit card dispute due to being past 60 days but did file with Capital one regardless.. I've exhausted every avenue possible and even My wife was able to speak with H****** last week and was told a certified refund check would be sent but never received confirmation. I ordered from this company years ago and received my parts in a timely manner but I feel this place needs to stop doing business and investigated for fraud. I also filed a FTC complaint since they have 30 days to provide communication on why they can't supply the product they are selling.Initial Complaint

I made 2 purchases feb 21, 2024 & feb 29. 2024. In the amount of 3023.00 plus the cost of return ship at 461.80 (was told I would be fully refunded by heather because she did not know how to use her "new system") so I returned them on my dime. Heads were used cast iron supposed to be machined and cleaned with all new parts. I received them all rusty literally with sand still sprinkling out of them with only 2 valves new and the rest were used. I ordered a torque converter and head gaskets (2 21 24 order) 2nd order was cam, lifters, rocker rollers, timing chain, push rods, valve guides and the gauge to measure push rod length. On may 10th after multiple excuses literally on a daily basis for over 2 months I finally received a partial order that consisted of rusty old heads, torque convertor, rocker rollers, and timing chain, nothing else. I called to inquire and spoke to Rick and he said he didn't know why I didn't receive everything in my order. I then questioned the condition of the heads that took over 2 1/2 months to machine and build and asked what junk yard these crappy rusted heads came from? He got baligurant with me and said " just return the god dam parts." Aand then he hung up on me. I immediately called back and got Heather(office mgr) and told her with all the bullcrap excuses I was told for 2 1/2 months I was very angry. She said return them I I will refund you. She said she would pay for the shipping. 3 days go by and no shipping labels and I was told by her that she got a new system and had issues creating labels and if I pay she would give me a full refund plus shipping costs. She received them on 5/22/24 and no refund. I called the next week and she said she was working on it. I gave till 6/3/24 and was told she could not reverse $ to my credit card and owner will write me a check. Heather has ignored me since I talked to her on 6/3/2024. I just want my money back at this point, this business has a bad track record for ripping people off.Initial Complaint

ordered parts they billed my CC right away and when they did pickup, they said equipment got shipped on Friday, I called back Wednesday and they said it had not gone out yet, I am looking for a tracking number, poor customer serviceBusiness response

I purchased an oil pan kit and when it arrived it had all the parts but the oil pan and then I tried to call them up and they just ignore me they won't give me a receipt they won't call or answer any of my emails or voice recordings they just plain ignored me on purposeBusiness response

February 2022: In separate conversations with Mondello, L***, owner of Mondello at the time, promised horsepower output of ~485 for the engine purchased. The engine initially delivered only 268 HP. After personally notifying Lynn several times about this matter via phone and email, as well as my shop, Lynn replied via email to an email stating the issue, which he did not deny. He sent replacement parts in an attempt to address the issue. Additionally, the engine they sent me, as confirmed by the corresponding build sheet also provided by Mondello, was supposed to have roller lifters, as described on their website. In the same email mentioned above, we notified Mondello of this matter, it was also not disputed. Summation: I am out of pocket $15,000 for the engine that never matched what was promised, plus they picked up my old engine that was replaced by the one they sold me and never paid me for it (approx. value $3,000). Plus I’m out the initial labor to install their bad engine (approx. $13,000), AND the labor to install parts that fell short of what was initially promised (approx. $3,500). In total, this transaction has cost me around $31,000 and I have nothing to show for it but an inoperable, under powered engine. Mondello, on the other hand, has my $15,000 and my old engine that was running when they picked it up. To overstate the matter, this is NOT a warranty issue. This is clearly a misrepresentation of performance, quality and configuration. I appreciate your time and consideration. I have demonstrated beyond a reasonable level my attempts to resolve this amicably with the merchant, to no avail.
