  I purchased a used 2021 Jay Flight travel trailer from Sky River RV in Paso Robles, CA in February 2024 for $18,881.60. I contacted them in May 2024 to inquire about consigning the trailer with them because I was experiencing pregnancy related medical issues and could not manage keeping the trailer. When I spoke to the associate about the value of my trailer, he informed me it was worth $8,000. I questioned why Sky River RV had sold me the trailer for over $18,000 just 3 months prior. He stated that because I was selling it so soon after purchasing it, the value had dramatically decreased and they were not willing to put it on consignment. This reason did not make any sense whatsoever considering it was already a used unit when I purchased it. Also, they did not inform me of the true market value at the time of purchasing. Additionally, the trailer was sold 'as is' with none of the equipment needed to function properly (generator, drain hose kit, etc.) I was issued a $50 voucher to use at their onsite store, which was extremely overpriced and I was not able to purchase any of the most basic items for $50. When I asked to save the voucher for use at a later time, I was met with resistance and felt pressured by the staff to use it at that time. I felt this to be unethical on their part. I was not seeking to make any profit from the consignment, only to have the remaining loan balance of $14,500 paid off and any extra profit would be kept by Sky River RV. I had compared similar units for sale on the market and many were selling in the $14-17k range, so I felt that they were in a position to potentially make a profit from consigning the trailer. After my experience with them over the phone regarding the consigment, it was clear they were not interested in serving the customer that they felt was not worth their time or effort. Ideally, I would like Sky River RV to buy back the trailer for the remaining loan balance of $14,500 which I feel is completely reasonable.

  We had purchased a 5th wheel trailer almost exactly a year ago today from sky river. we had the intention of putting it in my in laws backyard to live in it until we get our finances settled (my now wife and I) when we purchased the trailer, we were told that if we got the extended warranty, that if things were to break, (A/C, fridge, plumbing, heating, microwave) things like that, that someone can come out and fix it. We thought it was a great idea seeing that we KNEW this trailer was never going to be moving from where it is planted. only a few weeks in and the ceiling fans to the outside in the bathrooms broke, and no one could help us. our water pressure had drastically dropped, some days our shower isnt usable, Even after watching many videos myself on how to fix this, they said they dont have anyone to come out and look at it or they will get back to me with an answer the next day (they dont, Ive been working on this water problem for months now). And just recently, this last week our A/C unit stopped working. I have called them and informed them of the situation, they said they cant do anything about it so I want to cancel our extended warranty, since they can deliver on what we were told and I wont be able to use it. Well they told me last week they would forward my number to their sales department and get back to me, they did not so i called them. I told them the situation, they put me on a brief hold and within 5-10 seconds they hung up on me. with no attempt to call back it seems. I have talked to many people about our issues and what it is I want to do moving forward, But i keep getting pushed to "I'll forwards your name and number and they will get in touch with you." Only to never hear back from anyone

  Purchase a new 5th Wheel trailer from California RV Outlet in Atascadero Ca. this is an extension dealership of Sky River RV. Sky River RV handles all the service repair issues. This new Keystone Alpine 3910RK was Purchased R***** and J***** ****** 08/23/2021 for the amount of $88,167.34. This RV has a one year manufacturer warranty against defects, equipment failures, and poor workmanship. The RV has two failed hydraulic jacks, two interior doors of poor workmanship and came listed with generator ready. It is not generator ready. The generator compartment is built out of thin sheet metal and would not support a generator. I contest it is not generator ready. I have owned this RV since 08/23/2021 and cannot get any cooperation from Sky River RV service to Make the necessary repairs. The service department keeps saying they will order the necessary parts, but the never do. Sky River had possession of this RV for a Month and did not make the needed repairs.
