I brought my car for full bodywork, paint, and sanding for agreed amount of $1500. He painted the car wrong the first time and failed to properly communicate on the desired color. I had to wait 2 weeks and bring it back for repaint. I had to pay an additional $250 to fix the color. The paint job the 2nd time was subpar, the car has areas of missing paint, neglectful over spray all over throughout the car, and it looked like he used house paint instead of auto paint. I'm a college student who works hard for my money and I feel cheated and screwed over.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am rejecting this response because:

Statements made by the business owner are completely irrelevant to the issues I've addressed to the business owner. The car

-Has areas of both OVER and UNDER spray throughout the entire car
      - has paint is peeling off the bumper and other areas of the car
-Numerous dust particles throughout the entire car show through the paint and can be felt to the touch
-my radiator is painted which may cause me issues in the future
-The paint used doesn't look like automotive paint and it looked like a cheaper paint used for houses or cabinets.

My complaints addressed were not irrational and the lack of concern by the business owner further made me not wish to take it back for repairs as the owner stated I can do. The entire car needs to be redone and I knew that was out of the question by the owner. The car did not look like it was sanded down properly from the initial incorrect paint used and it still shows in areas of the car. I paid the business owner in full before any work was done out of good faith, paid for the corrected paint, and the job is still semi-complete. Not to mention the car was never buffed or polished which I was told AFTER the fact that it was not included with the job. My only satisfaction is the bodywork done which was done well and on that aspect I am happy. Anything regarding the paint I wish would've been done with more diligence and integrity. I still need now pay to get this car done right and perhaps going to this business wasn't in my best interest as everything I've addressed with the car im basically stuck with fixing on my own. I wish to mediate no further. I've taken the car to other professionals in the trade and indeed there's no discrepancy in the fact that this job was not given the attention to detail it needed. I appreciate Mr. Cooper for at least responding to the complaint, I will simply do better homework next time. This matter needs no further addressing.

      All the best
