Company has unethical and fraudulent business practices. We were introduced to this company from an associated plumber company. We had a simple pipe leak on a home we had just purchased. They stated the leak had then damaged the walls and flooring. They offered to inflate the costs to cover the insurance deductible if we engaged our insurance company. Ultimately we had no choice as asbestos and other issues were then discovered. This company committed to doing a full restoration; inflated the costs, got paid by the insurance company for the first phase of the water restoration and then left us with a bathroom ripped to studs and did not complete the rest of the job. They placed all of our stuff on the outdoor patio right before a rain storm event. We tried to reach them for 10 days to understand the delay and get an update and they stopped answering or responding to our texts and inquiries.Business response

To whom it may concern,We spoke to Mr. ***** about his concern over the phone today. There were multiple contractors onsite after we were done with our work at his home. So, Mr. ***** was upset that we were done at his job and did not hand him off to the next contractor properly. He wanted our technician to keep in contact with him through the process and our technician did not call him back which was our fault. We are currently working on implementing a new procedure for our technicians to ensure this problem will not happen again with any other homeowner. We apologized to Mr. ***** and he was accepting and gracias that we called to speak about this matter. Please let us know if there is anything further needed. I am rejecting this response because:
These facts are not accurate.The issue is this business falsely and unethically stated they provided a service. They committed to being a full service partner to help with our water damage and restoration. They discussed timeline and ensuing a rapid resolution, engaging other partners/ contractors, liaisoning with the plumber who referred them to fix a pipe issue, providing options for new showers and tile sections until we agreed to partner with them over the company our insurance agency recommended. We explained we were not local and they assured us this is no issue and they do these types of jobs all the time. Their local contact, Daniel, was incredibly responsive and attentive in what I assume was an effort to inflate the bill to my insurance company and collect a check. As soon as that check was paid, there was no communication. We were not even advised they would not support the rest of the project. They left our bathroom gutted and down to studs and placed all of our stuff (personal belongings, bathroom vanity, shower doors, light fixtures, toilet, faucets, etc OUTDOORs and just disappeared on us. We called numerous times, texted, and suddenly our very responsive project manager was impossible to get a hold of. Calls to the office went to a voicemail and messages never returned. We lost nearly a month of time and have more damage to deal with due to the negligence and leaving our belongings outside during a mountain thunderstorm event. To be clear, I need nothing further from this company at this point and would never do business with them again. There is no expected resolution. This report was to make other innocent consumers aware of our personal experience. While I appreciate the response and apology, it’s quite unfortunately it took us filing this complaint to get any response after dozens of other efforts were ignored. I do hope they review their business practices and resolve the countless opportunities missed.
