Today—Monday April 18,2022. I contacted ACV tax in regards to my taxes. I inquired how much it was going to be to file them. They said $125. I asked her specifically is it for direct deposit and to make them just like last year. She asked if I had done them there last year I said yes. The lady wearing a white and flowered dresses or Rosalba said yes! She said small forms are $95 medium $125 (work income and dependents) and more for the long form. At 4:30 I arrived to the business I confirmed the price with the receptionist who verified that it was correct. A male by the name Jose Ramirez then said it would be $125 for the making of my taxes and additional $15 for direct deposit. I said no I don’t want distract deposit. (At this time he could of said oh no that’s not what I’m going to charge you anyways). He finishes my taxes then says it’s $155. How do I want to pay?? Cash or card? I got upset and said how did it go from $125 to $155. He said because extra for “head of household” extra to file and submit them and $125 to do them !!! What kind of blasphemy are they running!! That is stealing and deceiving the customer. I was mad and said to provide me with a customer complaint number. He proceeds to say ..here is a post it you can write your issue and I can give it to a member of management or someone who cares! I said how about I send a complaint to the BBB —they will care !! I want my money refunded or charged the $125 but being that they are so unprofessional and pricing their prices in a deceiving manner and with the intention to take advantage of the customer this company has no ethics!! And they need to be reported. !!Business response

As per our conversation on Monday and by your advice, we contacted our client, ******** *******. As we told you before, she has been a client for many years (more than eight) and maybe it was just one of those hard days. We were able to talk to her on Thursday, and once more, we offered our apologies for any misunderstanding with the price, and that we were going to honor the price that she was told, even though the work was done. She was also told that a refund check for the difference in the price of 30 dollars, is waiting for her.
We are attaching the letter we prepared for ******** *******, a copy of the letter sent to us by your office, and a copy of the refund check for our client.
We have always conducted our office and ourselves very professionally and we take our clients as a priority. We will continue offering high-quality and professional services to the general public.
Thank you, for your advice and if there is anything else we need to do, please let us know. We have never had a problem with a client before and this is all new for us.
